But that's just a small part of this attempt to sabotage democracy. 671 mail sorting machines, crucial for peak days, have been taken to the dump. Thousands of mail boxes have been taken off the streets. The 23 guys that would have opposed this were fired. OT pay has been cancelled.

Even if he doesn't veto funding now, the mail system is half dead.

The House passer additional funding for the Post office to handle the election , but it was also littered with dem party wish list, such as bailing out dem states that have been mismanaged.

This has been known for weeks already. The postmaster general who is a trump loyalist, has been in acting policies for the last few months that work to undermine the postal service such as prohibiting overtime for workers, limiting, non-overtime work hours, other things. they are intentionally under Manning and underfunding the postal service, while at the same time claiming that the postal service is not able to keep up with the work, but they are enacting policies that make that happen. they were fully able to keep up with the work before these policies were put in place

they also claim that the reasons to policies are put in place because they are postal service doesn't have any money, but investigations into the postal service's finances show that they had enough money to pay overtime and pay for full hour work, prior to cuts being made by the Trump administration

Most states have been doing some mail in voting for years. It's the main way 5 states do it.

Republicans loved mail in voting, Trump does it.

It only became a problem when seniors decided they wanted to dump the chump.
