I can't speak for all Trump supporters, but I can say that I don't view the President's tweets with the extreme lack of objectivity the left does. A tweet is only a few words. I've constantly said the President gives too much intellectual credit to the audience that pays attention to them. As to the investigation, the order that authorized it broadens the scope, so what Mueller is doing does appear to be withing the scope. However, that doesn't change the motivation that lead to the investigation. The written record and reported history leading to it can't be dismissed. As to my side note, I'm not sure what you are going on about. I never suggested the investigation should not be done. I've only offered an observation there is never acknowledgment that tactics detailed in the indictment may very well be occurring by the US towards other Nations. Doesn't change anything, but should we be so shocked at what Russia is accused of doing? You don't do your credibility any favors by fabricating motives where none exist.

And it is Trump who loudly refuses to acknowledge the Russian effort, and who denies his campaign's involvement and communication with them. It is Congress' refusal to seriously investigate any of it, and its refusal to authorize any concrete steps to safeguard the electoral process from Russian influence or to stop the still ongoing Russian social media attacks. Sorry, but dropping a particular brand of anti virus software is does not erase all that inactivity or cover up.
