either voter ID is important or it's not, and every post office\bank can do notary services

the point is, one should not need more ID to vote in private then to go in and vote in public

Oddly enough, voter ID laws have the same goal.

Assuming all of this is true:
Why would I be upset that the American Voter was better informed after the releases of information - the accuracy and authenticity of which has never been challenged - than before?

    That is all.

That is a state's right matter, not yours.

I have no issue being required to show a voterid card or if lost a drivers license if the voter id cards are sent each year and are free

I agree. I think there needs to be a discussion about absentee voting. With the continuing use of early voting, i think absentee votes should be far more restricted. Unless you can show that will be out of your voting area for the entire period, you shouldnt be eligable for one. I would also like some mechanism for either notary or even turn absentee ballots in at a courthouse if you are still in the US.

Out ofnthe country, I am happy with the current system.

I know they interfered. It was sophisticated, it was comprehensive, and it wasnt subtle.

As far as pushing public opinion with fake facebook posts, you can only blame a stupid and disinterested electorate for the success of fake news. You can then add in the low opinion people have of the media and the obvious partisanship of the media to make countering that fake news harder.

Most keyboards have a "caps" button. They also have a button for "periods" that look good at the end of a sentence.

States do not possess rights, but rather are tasked with powers and authorities.

Laws that aren't enforced. What laws are those that would have prevented the Vegas nut?

What's the big deal having to show ID, states have made it free. Do you believe that people should have
to show ID to get benefits?

" meaningful fraud in voting" does that mean some fraud is ok? Why would you accept that? Like most I want zero fraudulent voting. Look at the election in Va where the flip of a coin decided the election, one fraudulent vote could have flipped that election.

Balance of result, gc17, please, means you don't threaten to eliminate tens of thousands citizens' voting access to keep out one single fraudulent vote.

Valid in your mind, not mine.I am asking a valid question. He said "one should not need more ID to vote in private then to go in and vote in public" and "either voter ID is important or it's not", I'm saying it is and it's easy and free. Are you the topic police?

The Democratic Party claims that Democrats were tricked by tweets. A person who can be tricked by tweets shouldn't be voting in the first place.

So, you have a list of tens of thousands that couldn’t vote? Believe me it would be big news for the democrat media complex. How come we don’t hear of it?

Strange as at the most the studies show a dozen or less improper votes caste in any of our major elections and to avoid such votes you wish to interfere with tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of legal voters voting.

There was no convoys of thousands of charter buses with millions of illegal voters being taken to CA to vote for Hillary no matter what either our very weird President or his neo nazis supporters are claiming.

How is having to show ID interfering with voting?
