    One minute he is gurning that he has the party under his control.
    The next he is blaming anyone his scattergun can reach.
    Net result...he is a discredited has been who behaves like a child.

    How does he think he will win the nomination when he keeps accusing others of his loss of support? Instead the normal reaction would be to either hope he takes permanent retirement before he tears the party apart or choose another candidate.
    Now that would be an amazing photo opportunity!

    BTW I still don't know what his ideology is and how it mirrors the GOP.
    It can't all be about money.
    I mean he has never pronounced on abortion, rained all but invisible on gun control, has nothing to say about taxation, speaks in Alien during a global pandemic , never mentions how to improve education , dares not mention health care and in foreign policy, says he wants to be friends with everyone.
    I am surprised he has any witchfinder generals left, considering how many witch hunts are out there.

    Insurrection has nothing to do with being open-minded, in fact it is just the opposite. Those on 1/6 are already in jail and some in trial, and hopefully will be on trial soon for his role.

    There isn't an insurrection if there weren't any weapons on Jan. 6. You don't know the meaning of insurrection do you? I suspect you're bandying the word insurrection for rhetorical sake and not factual sake.

    Except there were a serious number of arms in the crowd, including someone up a tree with an assault rifle. Trump had ordered that the metal detectors be disabled and just outside the immediate crowd there were hundreds of heavily armed people waiting for orders.
    In addition arms are not always guns. They can be flagpoles, baseball bats and anything else used for the purpose of hurting someone.
    The idea of an unarmed crown demanding the death of someone is ...unlikely.
