The irony and hypocrisy here are just too thick. Republicans have been using Alinsky's, "Rules For Radicals" since the 90's. The facts are you believe Trump doesn't need my approval. The facts are I don't lie, nor do I deal in propaganda. And you hope this will be a "knock down drag out election", because that is the best you can hope for.

The truth is both candidates are flawed, but one more than another, that being The Donald. There are reasons why pundits didn't think The Donald would make it thus far. I always thought The Donald would be the Republican nominee, because The Donald knows how to speak to the right wing base just as Palin knew how to speak to the Republican base. But the unfortunate fact for you is the Republican base is a very small sliver of the American voting population. Only a few million people have voted for Trump. Trump hasn't even received a majority of the Republican popular vote. In contrast, Hillary has won a majority of the Democratic vote.

Trump has been all over the place on the issues, flipping positions by the hour and by the minute. He's even worse than Romney was in that regard. But that's the norm for Republican candidates, because the Republican Party has become pretty radical and radicals generally don't win American elections.

Going forward, Trump faces a very different kind of audience. We will see how is silliness and lack of discipline plays with the rest of America who are not Republicans. I suspect, it will not play well.

I'm sure Trump will make it a very nasty campaign. It's what he does. It's in large part how he won the Republican nomination. We will see how that plays with a broader American audience in the days ahead.

Clinton is winning against Trump in the mainstream polls, and I think this is as good as it gets for Republicans. Hillary is has a primary opponent. Trump doesn't. When Hillary formally becomes the Democratic nominee, she should pick up 70%-80% of the Sanders's vote and that will give her a huge boost in the polls.

The truth is, a lot of the reporters and their media bosses are sleazy, especially with respect to national politics. The recent Katie Couric hit piece is a prime example.

Journalism, as a noble profession, is dead.

If that's what it takes, so be it. Long gone are the days when a simple correction worked. I learned quite a few years ago that if you want to get someone's attention, you have to get in their face. Subtle reminders don't work.

The media has been like disobedient children. It simply doesn't work to point out the errors of their ways. You have to get right on them and hold them accountable in a firm, strong way. Unfortunately, they've gotten their way and been destructive for so long it will take more disciplinary action on Trump's part. Trump responding in kind reflects upon him as negatively as those who assassinate his character.

In part by assassinating the character of others as defending oneself against false accusations does not require character assassination.

And I learned quite a few years ago that getting in someone's face is a good way to get in a fight as opposed to being calm and logically engaged in problem solving. Getting in someone's face is an effective tool for controlling the passive but against a competent opponent it is all but useless.

Trump calling someone a name is news? If you are not being called a name by Trump, then you aren't doing your job, because Trump will insult anyone who does not have their lips so firmly puckering on his butt, that they can't speak.

To me, name calling is the habit of losers. And if your rebuttal to everything is not to debate and present facts, it is just to call people names, then you are not intelligent enough, or mature enough, to even work in fast food, let alone be President of the United States.
