It wasn’t liberals who made trump lie about his Russian business dealings, hire a Russian stooge to run his campaign, hold dozens of secret meetings with Russia...
All while Russia was trying to help him get elected

A view from a different Washington paper:

    https://www.washingtontimes.com/new...AHjPBJLwp-mo4vKy0IzhYkethio5BuJkaAuPgEALw_wcB

"Let’s just reflect for a moment (with the help of Mollie Hemingway at The Federalist) on the damning revelations in this 4,000-plus article which paint a picture of an Obama White House meddling in a presidential election at a level that would make Vladimir Putin green with envy:

    • “The story says the FBI was worried that if it came out they were spying on Trump campaign it would “only reinforce his claims that the election was being rigged against him.” It is easy to understand how learning that the FBI was spying on one’s presidential campaign might reinforce claims of election-rigging.”
    • “Now we learn that it wasn’t just Page, but that the government was going after four campaign affiliates including the former campaign manager, the top foreign policy advisor, and a low-level advisor whose drunken claim supposedly launched the investigation into the campaign. The bureau says Trump’s top foreign policy advisor and future national security advisor — a published critic of Russia — was surveiled because he spoke at an event in Russia sponsored by Russia Today, a government-sponsored media outlet.”
    • “The surveillance didn’t just include wiretaps, but also national security letters and at least one government informant to spy on the campaign”
After going through these details with National Review’s Andrew McCarthy, a former Assistant US Attorney in the Southern District of New York, I asked him the question that seems to be ignored in the New York Times’ article: Is there any way this kind of counter-intelligence operation would go on without the White House knowing of it or approving it?

No! No. no. Everybody knew about it. The agents’ texts made that clear. The Susan Rice, the memo she wrote, the “CYA” memo she wrote going out the door makes that clear. The White House had to know about this from the start. And look, Larry, it’s the kind of thing… An important thing about counterintelligence… there’s nothing wrong with the president knowing about it. Because, unlike criminal investigations and prosecutions where we don’t want the political people interfering in the four corners of the case, counterintelligence is done for the president. the purpose of it is to gather intelligence, to gather information to enable the president to carry out his most important constitutional responsibility which is protecting the country from foreign threats to national security."

Trump embodies treason, the selfish, lying, colluding POS. He was genuinely obsessed with Hillary's "missing" emails and only called on the Russians to "find" them, and he is accusing the FBI of "treason" for investigating Russian interference and the alarming prospect of the lying POS's campaign colluding with the Russians, who we know were interfering by illegal means in his favor.

He needs to be booted out ASAP and made to stand trial for all of his self-serving, treasonous, oath-breaking and corrupt actions.

Did you miss the Mueller report? no collusion.

I'm sure he would say the same about you.

Intentionally destroying 30,000 subpoened emails isn't a problem?

A joke during a campaign speech.

No, he's accusing them of treason for trying to hamper and/or remove a duly elected POTUS using spys and a garbage dossier. That should offend any sane American. Are you OK with the Plan B and 'We'll stop him'?

You and the Deep State are in for a rough 6 years.

I think treason is a word that should be used with precise care. Unlike the leftist Democrats who have tossed it around like corn flakes. On the other hand, while an internal coup d'état probably does not satisfy the stringent constitutional requirements for treason, it comes pretty damn close.

Whatever, if a government ever defeats a coup attempt it never simply forgets it and moves on down the road. Strong steps must be taken to insure it can never happen again (to the best of its capability.)

Well, still no charges. Page is a free man after being considered by the FISA application as a foreign spy for so long. If there ever was anything actionable it would have happened long ago.

Of course it does. A Title I application allows the investigation of anyone two steps away from Page so if Page talked to anyone in the campaign they, and the next person they contacted could be wire tapped, etc. Of course Hillary was supposed to win so none of this would have ever been made public.

Not familiar with "one hopping" ... FISA warrants allow the FBI to eavesedrop on ANYONE their target communicates with. The rationale being the target might be acting as a conduit. Transcripts from Carters surveillance haven't been reviewed by anyone. Carter wanted them released to the public, but the FBI refused to even let Carter's lawyers look at them. Now Carter's investigation is over, and Carter's requests still haven't been answered. How many recordings between Carter and campaign staffers do you think the FBI collected?

This is a sad joke and anyone with a brain knows it. Barr was brought in specifically to do trump's dirty work. This is just more of the same. And as has everything else trump has babbled about, it will amount to nothing more than his birther conspiracy.

How can you people be so insanely naive and gullible? The whole world is laughing at you.

What spies really look like compared to what Hollywood thinks they look like.

Your post proves how gullible people can be. Barr after having been an AG before knows the law and like Trump, cannot be controlled by the elite which is why they are pilloried. They are dangerous to the entrenched unelected bureaucrats.

He was in contact with the campaign which allowed them to spy on the campaign.

Wht did you insert Trump, when I specified campaign staffers? You focused on the one thing I never mentioned about the possibilities "one hopping" might entail. You're question does imply that you'd simply victim blame Trump though ... in the event the FBI, as alleged, backdoored the Trump campaign via Carter's FISA warrant.

No kidding... has there been anything put out that said Page was in contact with anybody in the Trump campaign after he left it in mid-September?? If so, who and when.

THEN, you need to make the connection that those contacts were monitored by the FBI and THEN you have to show that the contacts were related to the campaign (for it to be spying on the campaign) and THEN you have to show how that information was USED by the FBI to discredit the Trump campaign...

It's a pyramid scheme of steaming conspiracy crap....
