Awesome, I've read accounts of Gen Mattis sitting with his Marines on perimeter guard in A-Stan.

Compared to Gen. Mattis, clowns like Ash Carter pale to insignificance.

    This ones my favorite

"I come in peace. I didn't bring artillery. But I'm pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you (*)(*)(*)(*) with me, I'll kill you all"-Mattis

Are you trying to be serious right now?

Yeah, he did a bang up job as CentCom commander. For some reason the feeble minded think he's going to be any different. You can always join the Army and help out.

    No.

Generally tinpot dictators have some redeeming qualities like being funny or writing eloquently about the life and times of the humble bumble bee.

Everything basically. The man is a true warrior and leader who gives a (*)(*)(*)(*) about those under his command and is not afraid to say or do the things that need to be done to slaughter our enemies.

Not a chance in hell. It would be literal suicide for any dem to even try this. Besides Mattis is highly respected on the Hill and is almost all but guaranteed for the spot. It would be insane to deny him.

So, you won't be joining the military to help out? Not surprising.

Generals are subordinate to the Commander in Chief so, yeah, I think it'll be different with Trump.

As for me, I'm 60 years old. Doubtful that any army wants my old ass lol.

I suggest you and all your disenchanted Dems set up your own government and laws ruled by Hillary, Obama & his current cabinet----

Why do you believe the Republican congress would not make the exception or that Trump could just wait to being sworn in and issue an Executive Order like Obama likes to do so often?

Ahhh when did McAruther serve as SecDef? You mean Marshall.

So what? Prior congresses do not dictate to future congresses and cannot bind them, there is nothing stopping this congress from making an exception or repealing the law altogether.

Single best Trump appointment to date. Probably the best when the appointments are all said and done.

Got to agree. Instead another yes man lacking any real military experience we are getting a combat general who speaks his mind and tells the truth. Perhaps he can reverse the rot in the military and slow the wasting on money on SJW projects while using money to rebuild.

Doesn't sound like a previous supporter agrees : """The man is a true warrior and leader who gives a (*)(*)(*)(*) about those under his command and is not afraid to say or do the things that need to be done to slaughter our enemies."""

you can bet that every silly mind fart that the dems utter about the nominees will be discussed with great gravitas by every old media dem operative until the final vote. Each loss in the process will make them more desperate.

He should be appointed Secretary of Agriculture.

He knows how to make the grass grow.

What exactly about Trump's soft, draft dodging past makes you think he will be a competent commander in chief?
