I have to note the flaw in your argument...the assumption that the intel community, the folk that sort of missed the crash of the Soviet Empire, misread the Iranian revolution, that sort of missed the 911 plot, and that is chin deep in the deep state working 24/7 to remove Trump, are 'American Patriots'.

Remember the silly line "all 17 intelligence agencies agree with the assessment".....etc. Turns out no one could name those 17 agencies. Further turned out that 17 was actually 4 and at least one or two of those 4 have been caught playing politics in support of the deep state.

I cannot speak for you but I am pretty sure a good bit of the leadership of those fine intel agencies is deeply involved in the shadow government and cannot be relied on to tell anyone what is really going on.

Is simply providing the voters the truth about a candidate, a truth delivered in the form of their (Clinton and the DNC) own words and E-mails really dangerous 'interference'? As far as I'm concerned the jury is still out on whether or not Russia interfered to begin with. (as in the State). I have trouble with the idea that some facebook add which speaks the truth (a pic of Bernie Sanders with the caption "The Clinton foundation is a problem) constitutes "interference".

What is nonsense is the claim that voters knowing "The Truth" harms our electoral process. Does someone knowing the Truth have an effect ? Absolutely it does - or should. With the partisanship these days "the truth" matters not.

The problem with Russiagate is that it is focusing on a raindrop while the hurricane is being ignored ... some of this hurricane is given in post 123.

In addition to the items in 123 ... the abject hypocrisy is way to painful to bear. The US interferes with the democratic processes of other nations on a very regular basis - in a way far more nefarious than facebook ads stating the Truth.

What if Putin said - OK .. we will send those involved in what you claim as harming your electoral process if you send the people involved in harming the electoral processes of other nations to us ?

Who are 'they'? The same intel agencies and investigations that DID note the Russian attempts to hack the GOP's computers without success while the lefts media sort of forgot to note that. Could it be simply that the DNC and the Clinton campaign made it easy to hack their sites while the GOP and Trump campaigns took security more seriously?

Have you ever noted how the lefts argument against Trump is so very easily debunked?
