No, at the moment Trump announces the emergency at the border two Republicans file for an injunction to stop him in the 5th circuit court. When it's granted the Democrats won't be able to file in the 9th Circus where they can delay indefinitely with liberal judges. Then expedite the matter through the court of appeals to the SCOTUS as fast as possible.

 

Like a typical Trump loyalist, you were fooled by the wingnut media into believing that immigrants want or need your money. They don't. They carry their own weight.... and then some! Immigration has always benefited this country.

 

They falsify their identity to find work. If a citizen does that, they pay a heavy penalty.....possibly a felony. They don't carry their own weight. If they did, they would speak Eng.ish. Texas and Arizona Pay billions of dollars to have bilingual ed for their children. School lunch programs and food stamps are additional items that cost billions.Legal immigration requires you to know English and to maintain your own welfare. ....but then again, I don't think you know the difference and don't even care.

 

How soon? After he leaves office, of course. I don't know what it is you want to bet on. Are you saying that Trump will never see the inside of a prison? But I only bet when I'm sure I will win. And this bet would require assumptions about Trump's health despite his addiction to junk food.

And they handsomely compensate for the cost of initial inception into our economy by paying taxes and producing a sizable contribution to GDP.

Yeah legal immigrants benefit this country.....they pay an entry fee, speak english, know Constitutional history etc. Illegals do none of that most of the time. As I said, you don't know the difference.

 

What about illegals from Canada, Australia or England? Have they learned our language?

A typical undocumented immigrant knows as much about the history of this country as a typical white supremacist. But I do know the difference. The difference is that most immigrants appreciate the value of education. So, given the opportunity, they will learn. White Supremacists hate education so they will be Trump supporters forever.

She also nailed Trump's fake threat to declare a National Emergency to release money for the wall as “preposterous on its face.”

“To threaten for months that he’ll declared an emergency if he doesn’t get his way underscores there is no emergency,” she wrote. “Moreover, his declaration of an emergency can be overridden by a simple majority of both houses, which would be even more humiliating than Trump’s cave on the shutdown.”

Rubin observed that Trump had “even less leverage now” over getting his way than he had when he caved and re-opened the government.

Why not have a non-partisan commission comprised of experts in various aspects of border security design an efficient, effective, comprehensive approach rather that a reality-tv performer with no experience in the matter?

 

Would anyone support the issue of border security being addressed by professionals in this way rather than be kicked about like a partisan, political juju?

Trump is losing it.

Trump wants you to believe his administration is already building a wall along the southern border, even if Congress refuses to give him any money for it. But he’s also demanding Congress give him money so he can build the wall.

Trump has now played his other card and will win in the courts under Article 4, Section 4.

Trump very likely just won his 2020 bid for re-election.

 

The dems funded no money for a wall.

He will lose in the courts subject Art 4 Sec 4.

Trump most certainly has lost any chance for 2020.
