"Trump Goes to War Against the Democracies"

Before you take the side of these "democracies", I might remind you that these countries started 2 world wars, and gave birth to the likes of Stalin(if you include Russia), Mussolini, and Hitler, and Chamberlain who tried to appease the dictator Hitler. Trudeau talks about standing next to Americans during the wars, but they had no choice since they were part of the UK. These countries dragged the US into their mess, and expected the US to save them and pay for the rebuilding. They are what they are BECAUSE of the US, but they still expect the US to pay for everything like NATO(how many pay their fair share?), bail them out and let them take advantage of the US right and left. They just expect us to keep quiet about it like how DARE we fight back against this unfairness? Really? Libs ALWAYS take the side of anyone who is against the US. To them, we are ALWAYS in the wrong, even though we are the greatest nation in history. They are unAmerican and should be ashamed of themselves and I can't have respect for them at all. He has kept his business interests VERY private. As I have said, the American public deserves to know a Presidents business interests. I find people arguing against that odd. I want a President serving the countries interests, not his own.

 

I don’t agree. Trump and his businesses have been in the spotlight for about 30 years.

Sometimes they are both. Not all presidents give up their financial dealings when they are president(our last one didn’t for instance) and sometimes when they do, they almost lose it all(Carter). Trump gave up control of his family business.... to his family. Seems about right to me. I don’t believe he(or any president) should have to divest himself of all his business dealings because president.

Admittedly, people aren’t used to a private sector person being president. It’s a new one for us all.

 

You mean start with 2007 when the Democrats took back the Congress a year before the recession and began their trickle up policies and plans to raise taxes and hugely increase spending? That year of the last Republican deficit of just $161B?

 

The president is a private citizen. If you wanted a different way then you have to change the Constitution.

 

Explain why we would have to change the constitution. People get background checks when they apply for jobs all the time.

 

We would need to change the Constitution to have only collectivist approved candidates run

 

Explain that absurdity. Most anybody could run. And they all have the option to divulge personal information or not. The American people would decide in the primaries, then the election.

I never said Trump should be forced to hand over his tax returns. I'm just pointing out that it is very suspect and people should be concerned.

I care. I want to know the foreign business interests of my President for obvious reasons. As far as Putin, there has been talk Trump has helped launder dirty money from Russia, which benefited them all. It looks like, buy the way Trumps advocates for Russia for no apparent reason, that Putin has an IOU.

How many times do I have to explain it. Trump is canceling the disastrous NAFTA that Bonehead Clinton signed. If Canada and the US agree to dump NAFTA, there is NO NAFTA. Mexico will be the odd man out. When Canada decides to co-operate, their excessive tariffs go away. That just leaves Mexico with the excessive tariffs, if they co-operate by controlling their side of the border and agree to pay their fair share of the wall, their tariffs will go away too. Allies co-operate with us not work against us, those folks are our enemies. All Trump is doing is using the leverage of access to the US economy to get our (allies) enemies to do what he wants or they can go pound sand.

 

You need look no further than the Clinton Uranium One deal where the ruskies donated over a million to the Clinton slush fund after they took control of all that Uranium.
