Guess you never heard anyone wanting to remove statues, it was all over the news and all about slavery.
yes, when the poor dumpster dive in rich areas they get food that they could never earn on their own through hard work from employment. the good rich people leave crumbs for the poor, and the bad rich people leave the lie of bread. those are the only two real choices.
Oh my gosh. So there is an issue of statues being up that show veneration for men who fought against the United States of America and who supported slavery, statues which offend everyone whose ancestors were slaves, as well as offending those who abhor slavery, and that means you are constantly hearing that you need to be guilty for what people did 153+ years ago. What a way to twist things. I don't see you being forced to feel guilt over slavery; what I see is you trying to force those who think like you, racists and anti-Americans who admire those who fought for slavery and against our country, you want to force others to see things your way and make them feel guilty if they don't.
I merely pointed out one instance where slavery is brought up by the left. I clearly don't feel guilty over slavery but those on the left are trying to make people feel guilty about it. It is you and your side who are trying to force others to see things your way. Many simply want to be left alone and not be forced to do or not do something because of political correctness.
Nobody is trying to make you feel bad about it. Nobody on the left is trying to make you feel bad about it. Non-Hispanic whites comprise 60% of the Democratic party. They are NOT trying to make you feel guilty about slavery. They don't feel guilty about slavery. All the people involved in slavery are dead long, long ago. What liberals want is for racists to recognize that slavery, Jim Crow laws, racial segregation and racial prejudice have caused problems in our society. We have improved things to some degree, but there is still racial bias, with attendent problems. What we want is for racists to recognize and accept that problems still exist and work to seek solutions instead of blaming it on the blacks, liberals, progressives, socialism, and a whole lot of things that are irrelevant. *******n. What is wrong with people who absolutely cannot stop looking down on other people because they don't look, act, think, or worship just like themselves? Stop using imagined guilt about slavery to hide behind racist beliefs.
There is still racial bias and there always will be. Racial bias comes from all races not just the white race. Failing to recognize this means attempts to negate racial bias will not succeed.
The States has its own unique racist culture. Most of what you would call racism by blacks toward whites is reverse racism due to what has been done to them, how they are looked upon and treated. There is some bias between races or ethnic groups in the US because people like to maintain their racial or ethinic identity.But overall, these things are changing. There is more mixing of cultures, ethnicities, and races every day. It's the hardcore racist, stuck like super glue to their racism that are the problem now. People have to stop making sweeping generalizations about whole groups of people just because they don't agree with how those people live, think worship, etc. People have to stop needing to look down on others who are different from themselves.
