Just seems like something that if Trump had said a wall was immoral then he turned around to fund it Democrats would beat him over the head with it but since Nancy is a dem it seems her flip flop isn’t a big deal.

I have no idea what any of that idiot gibberish was supposed to mean.

    Trump lost.

Actually, he lost on live television on December 11th, which will be one of the defining days of the Trump Presidency.

After two months of bluster and strutting, Trump caved.

He will sign a deal for less than what Pelosi offered him to begin with.

After an unnecessary shutdown, hundreds of thousands out of work, Trump winds up with less than he started with.

This isn't defeat. it's ignomious defeat.

As I told you on December 11th. There will be no wall.

That depends on what you think it is.

As for the reactionary racist right's fascination with Trump's wall, it's not over. Trumpsters will cling to that disgusting racist fantasy long after Trump is gone.

As for the politics, it was over on December 11th. Trump lost.

He is now in a position in which the one man who protected him for his first two years in office finally was forced to withdraw support from Trump.

This is the end of any Trump legislative agenda. He won't be able to get anything through Congress now. He can't hold the GOP Senate and he doesn't have the house.

Pelosi and McConnell will run the government now.

    Trump made himself irrelevant.

Which, is what he did on the world stage during his first two years.

Mistrusted and reviled by our allies and taken advantage of by our rivals.

And, now separated from his own party's leadership.

It is perhaps the most spectacularly failed Presidencies in US history.

Actually Tommy, I will only cling to my wish for border security until you remove all the locks on your doors, leave your key fob on the front seat of your Prius, and publish your financial information on AL Gores Internet.
    Still sorry for your bitterness.

Both my house and my Prius are usually not locked. We don't have anything to be afraid of.

I worry about the precedent that might be set by declaring a national emergency. What happens when a Democrat is in power and they declare Global Warming a national emergency?

Great, now all we need is your financial information. If it makes you more comfortable you can publish it on a forum on Democracy Now or Media Matters.
How would I have guessed you were a Prius guy/gal/alphabet? Birkenstock lover?

LMAO.....you should be use to it considering the Demos allowed the Russians to hack into all our top branches of Government. Then that time Ted Kennedy called Mother to try and stop Reagan from winning the Presidency.

Oh and the Demos bestest move of them all. Putting a Russian Spy in the State Dept. Alger Hiss ring any bells for the older Demos who know their history.

Of course you have no idea. Reality is often to much for Hardcore leftists to handle.

Trump won.....Even The Week is pointing out how bad the Demos lost.

The Democrats' total capitulation on the border.....

Republican and Democratic lawmakers last night reportedly came to an agreement on border enforcement funding to avert another government shutdown before the Friday deadline. Yet after all this drama, it's unclear if Democrats accomplished much beyond virtue signaling to their base. If anything, they may have given Trump a green light to forge ahead with his draconian interior enforcement agenda without any meaningful oversight of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Details of the deal are still trickling in but it seems clear that after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi pledged not to give Trump even a "dollar" for his wall, Democrats agreed to hand him $1.375 billion to build a 55-mile long barrier in the Rio Grande Valley. They're trying to spin this as mere "pedestrian fencing." Trump, who is never shy of staring a gift horse in the mouth, is saying it’s not enough. But it's pretty clear that Democrats gave in.

In addition, they agreed to hand the Department of Homeland Security an additional $1.7 billion for border security, including technology at ports of entry, more officers and, as an afterthought, some humanitarian aid......snip~

Note the center leftist site stating Total Capitulation by your Democrats. The Demos got nothing in return. :roflol:

Ahhh no they cut it down to 2.8 at one point and what did the Democrats do, cut their number.

Pelosi was unequivocal NOTHING for border walls/fencing/barriers, will she cave now?

And more evidence the Democrats do not want a border security bill and would prefer the government to shutdown again.

Democrats Slip “Poison Pill” into Border Security Plan – That will Prevent Building the Wall
"According to FOX News Majority Leader Mitch McConnell accused Democrats of adding “poison pill” provisions into the deal. One of those provisions allows small town mayors to veto any part of a wall built in their specific jurisdictions."
    https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...an-that-will-prevent-building-the-wall-video/

Since when do small town mayors get to veto matters of national security or control our national borders?

Land owners are perfectly within their right to challenge the seizure of their property. Leaders of cities should have the same authority.

    Bulllllshit.

Mulvaney had indicated “that if Dems weren’t OK with $5.7 [billion] and the president wasn’t OK with $1.3 [the Democratic offer] ... he was trying to say we should find a middle ground.”

That reportedly sent the president into a fit, as he cut off Mulvaney, telling him, “You just ****ed it all up, Mick.”

Doesn't bely the fact the WH went down to 2.8 and the Democrats instead of coming up to meet them went down.
But now it appears Pelosi will capitulate from her unequivocal "NOTHING".

This is any small town MAYOR getting a veto over our national security and national borders. Not only a stupid idea probably unconstitutional and just a ploy to force another shutdown.
