If the debt does not increase while Trump is in office - I will give him a great deal of credit for it. I don't it expect it not to increase, but if it doesn't double, I will be impressed.

Your link doesn't mention Trump or a change in the national debt. Do you have any idea why the debt went up $210 billion in Obama's first month? Hint: think "banking crisis".

Now prove the debt went down $33 billion in Trump's first month AND that he had something to do with it. Until you do it's just an empty claim, probably "fake news" by you.

 

In this case, we have the indisputable timeline (when Trump took office, when he submitted a budget) and a connection to the dates and amounts on the debt clock.
So we can see exactly when the debt started to decrease - and that was prior to Trump being elected (and during a time when he was not expected to win).
