Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics(CREW) brought suit on Tuesday against Dirty Donald Jared Kushner and the administration in U.S.District Court for the District of Columbia. They accuse the administration of violating the Presidential Records Act by failing to protect official government emails and Whats App communications regarding official government business. They say the president has, "planned and executed destruction" of records without authorization or the knowledge of the archivist or congress in violation of the law.

On this, we agree. The decision to not go after Clinton should have consequences.

Do you believe they should have received more or less punishment than HRC? If more, why? If less, why?

That is not punishment. Most of us never become president. We don't consider that punishment.

Always wondered why Trump didn't lock her up.
Just another broken promise I guess.

If anyone wants an example of a silly frivolous lawsuit, this is it.

Your record of defending Don for anything and everything remains intact. Destruction of records could be done for a variety of reasons. None of them good. This is another area exposed by Trump where violations need to have criminal consequences.

Like I said. They should be punished as severely as HRC.

So what? To file suit you have to have standing, you have to have incurred damages, and you have to have reasonable evidence of actions by the defendant (suppositions or just fear does not cut it.) If you file a suit with none of those requirements, it is silly and frivolous.

Why not leave matters like this to folks who understand the law?

Washington— As President Trump’s term draws to a close, we face an increasing risk that historically valuable records of his presidency will be permanently lost in violation of records laws, according to a new lawsuit filed by the National Security Archive, the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations, the American Historical Association, and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington. By adopting a policy that allows White House personnel to capture and preserve only portions of electronic messages they send or receive on unofficial messaging accounts, the White House is permitting the loss and destruction of Presidential record material.

    That's strike #657.

The answer is simple: if there is evidence that they destroyed official information, they should be punished. If there isn't, they shouldn't. Easy as that. That applies to all crimes the Trump family and their minions have committed. The problem is that there is already evidence of many of those crimes.

Newsflash: the highlighted phrase is supposition, not reasonable knowledge required to file a non-frivolous and silly lawsuit.

Hillary meets that criteria. Trump should be treated the same way she was.

If they already have examples of the president destroying documents or correspondence, then they certainly have probable cause.

HRC archived her emails, did the Trump admin archive any of their whatsapp communications, not even one

saying it's ok, means the Biden admin can do the same

She deleted 33,000 emails and destroyed two phones with a hammer.

Not the ones she erased and BleachBited, nor the ones in her smart phones that were beaten to death.
