    He save "millions"...yeah.....right.

    FFS, he literally said it was "liek the flu", it "was no big deal". These are all quotes. To deny that he downplayed the seriousness of this is astounding, but also expected as the cult of Trump is still thriving.

    but the spectacular unmitigated disaster that Obama's signature Obamacare legislation was is someone else's fault.

    I doubt it. These populist cults tend to fade with time. Just look at how Bernie Sanders did very well in 2016, then did MUCH worse in 2020, with his base actually significantly shrinking. Trump will make a lot of noise during the first year post-election, but little by little people will tire of the endless whining that the election was stolen from him (it wasn't) and other Republicans with power aspirations will start to undermine him any way they can. The rats will jump ship. Not to forget, Trump will be bombarded with several lawsuits against him and New York state prosecutors seeking to throw him in prison.

    Those lawsuits and possible indictments are what he'll use to make himself into a hero/martyr.

    What will it take to get his core base, not to mention the QAnon crazies, to lose interest? That doesn't seem likely to me. As my dear departed brother used to say, never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

    I made no predictions on the presidential race.... this is my prediction on the runoffs though :)

    Let me also add that 56% of the country want a divided government (based on a poll taken like 2-3 days ago). This does not bode well for the dems in Georgia either.
