Do you have any statistics to back that up? 9/11 was caused by persons legally present in the country. A number of recent US terrorist acts were conducted by homegrown right wing extremists. Much of our domestic drug problems are attributable to prescription opioids and even if drugs are coming over the border and even if a wall was effective (big if), smugglers aren't stupid, they'll just find another way.

They are against paying 35 billion dollars for a wall across our southern border when we cannot afford it and that will not work. Also, the lie about Mexico paying is a turn-off. Trump holding the DACA people hostage doesn't set well. I think that the Dems will eventually
