The above appears to be the heart, the meat of the indictment. I think the prosecutors will be able to prove intent as a result of having the actual tape recording where he admits he could have declassified but didn't when he showed sensitive military material to those without high security clearances. IMHO, he's sealed his own fate.

Now that said, this indictment is without a doubt, politically motivated. I don't need to prove it either. The proof is that Clinton was handled differently as was Joe Biden when it comes to the DOJ and 51 former Intel officers covering for him prior to the 2020 election. Clinton was given break after break for the willful crap she pulled to interfere with Trump's campaign in 2016, and she did with full intent to destroy classified information on her private server. With Biden, it was also Classic 2020 election interference on the DOJ's/FBI's collaboration with Twitter and FB part to censor conservative investigative news, (The NY Post's) while they gave cover to the Hunter Biden laptop story that Biden lied about and said was probably Russian disinformation.

Classic interference for the 2024 election now too.

For the last six-seven years, (as long as Trump as been a threat to the DC status quo do business as usual clubbies), there's been a two-tiered justice system in place that favors the DOJ's favorite establishment politicos while they actively sought to crush outsider Trump. I'm pretty sure that if Trump wasn't running for president again, there would be no indictments.

I have a hard time believing the government doesnt have an actual recording. Trump's team will have access to it, and the DOJ would look very foolish in front of handpicked, biased Judge Cannon.

Whatever they decide to release of the audio will be heavily redacted because it involves confidential information.

There are no “two-tiers”. There is simply the law and consequences for those who flout it. No amount of ‘whataboutism’ will change that. The Stain is being treated the same as people like Petraeous and Burger who were found guilty of similar charges.

CORRECTION: The Stain has been treated far more leniently than those two and many others who have been convicted in similar circumstances. If any of those others had delayed, prevaricated, played dumb, obstructed to the extent and over the extended time that he has, they would have been indicted far, far earlier…all he had to do was what Pence and Biden did…return what you have and invite the authorities in to check.
