Have you any hands on experience with PG&E. I do and I am not talking as a customer. I sold a home to one of their senior top engineers and he told me plenty about PG&E. I am not here to trash PG&E or their management but if proven they did wrong to our forests and private property owners, the company will pay big time. A problem for PG&E revolves around government ordering them to divest either their electric production or their power lines. They chose to retain the power lines and sold off the electric production. Still people do not deserve to be burned out and killed. Still one might wonder had Government not forced them to sell their power production if things would be a lot better. It boils down to money a lot of the time. Government cut off PG&E from money.

I have with me a female who has two masters degrees, votes republican and was happy to leave teaching. So I know why Democrats hate us. I know why Teachers love Democrats.

I have a daughter who is a vice principal. She is a teacher. We never discuss politics but not due to her being a teacher. She belongs to a religion that refuses to be involved in politics. Dad, before he died, joined a volunteer fire department in the Redwoods. Dad explained a lot to me over his years as the Fire Chief.

I was on a forum one time and a fireman announced to me that most firemen are volunteers . City fire departments have the money for full time staff. Dad never got paid a dime and his volunteers did not either. Dad used to try to locate fire equipment from other fire departments. Is is stupid to blame Trump for what the Feds do. What they do us baked into law well prior to Trump being elected.

But unlike you, I do have direct contact with a former head of Engineering at PGE whose company job was the management of all of PGE water. PGE once had a massive holding in water. They had hydroelectric that most were not aware of and they transferred water all over the place. He would fly in the company helicopter to the various places to correctly manage the water used at Dams, I learned most of what I know about that company from him telling me what happens there.
