Well Bill Clinton, George Bush and Barack Obama all promised to do it. 22 years ago an act was passed to make Jerusalem the capital. And Senate vote 90 to 0 to make Jerusalem the capital.

If anti Semites try to attack they should just be slain. Thats what military is for

It's great that you support polls and always agree with the majority. I'll keep that in mind for the future. :)

Let me know the moment we Christians or the Jews command airplanes and destroy Mecca or important Muslim sites.

Please alert me and other conservatives.

    I am an American...

There really no excuse for such ignorance. We're suffering from incurious laziness.

The problem isn't "incurious laziness". It's twofold:
    1) "If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...."
    2) Posts like this one:
Not "some Americans are so stupid", but all Americans are so stupid. So it's logical to assume you are either a foreigner or hate your country so much you'd rather join ISIS.

The Marines at Tripoli, Patton at El Guettar, the Brits at El Alamein and, of course, the Israelis kicking Arab ass for 70 years.

Except the setup of the city makes it impossible to claim as a capital. Because of its existence as a religious state, Jerusalem should have been a neutral city. Rather than the capital of a country. Claiming it as a capital, only serves the advance of a war mongering agenda.(And of course, for those who researched into the history of the country, you'll find that Israel was created through forced occupation and UN authorization, and the Palestinians have basically been displaced.)

To side with Israel is to side with war criminals, in effect. But because of the delicacy of the issue of the homes and livelihood of innocent Israeli civilians, you can't exactly correct the map on this issue. It's a complex problem, but siding with the aggressor is not the solution.

Let's see. you think the Israelis are war criminals but you don't say a single thing against Islamic terrorism. Why?

Who is the aggressor on the map below. It's been like that for 70 years. The Israelis aren't saints but terrorists certainly are demons as are those who support terrorism.

The Arab-Israeli war is a strange war in unusual circumstances. While in WW1, you had nations pledging alliances to other nations, the Arabic Nations in this case wanted to preserve Arabic territory(which obviously included Palestine) for the Arabs. So even though nations such as Jordan and Turkey etc have no real reason geographically for it, their reasoning lied in a sort of Arab Nationalism. Arabia for the Arabs.

Of all the places the Jewish could've resettled, they chose the one place that would invoke strife and conflict lol.

Dude, there was no such thing as "the Arabic Nations". It was the Ottoman Empire.

Highlighted text says it all. . . . Trump stirred up a hornet's nest and then washed his hands of the ensuing repercussions of his actions.

He is indeed leaving a legacy that will be remembered and a Gordian knot left for future administrations to untie.

Rational people are never impartial in this sort of situation. Please tell me what good it has done to pretend that part of Jerusalem was not Israeli for the last 50 years?

Israel's ethnic cleansing is one of the major issues in the world today.

It was even used by OBL to recruit terrorists to operate against the USA.

And, no, there are plenty of Israelis who believe what Netanyahu is doing in Palestine IS both criminal and detrimental to the long term interests of Israel.

The Arab League has a huge say and a huge stake in the Middle East process.

Arab foreign ministers have called Donald Trump’s decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel’s capital a “dangerous violation of international law” that had no legal impact and was “void”.

The Arab League urged the United States to abandon an announcement it said would increase unrest in the region. “The decision has no legal effect ... it deepens tension, ignites anger and threatens to plunge region into more violence and chaos,” the Arab League said early on Sunday after an emergency session attended by all its members in Cairo.

Trump’s endorsement of Israel’s claim to all of Jerusalem as its capital goes against long-standing US policy that the city’s status must be decided in negotiations with the Palestinians, who want East Jerusalem as the capital of their future state.

Lebanon’s foreign minister, Gebran Bassil, said during the meeting that Arab nations should consider imposing economic sanctions against the US to prevent it moving its embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv.

“Pre-emptive measures [must be] taken ... beginning with diplomatic measures, then political, then economic and financial sanctions,” he said, without giving specific details.

Arab criticism of Trump’s plan contrasted sharply with the praise Washington’s traditional Arab allies heaped on him at the beginning of his administration in January.

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...-league-dangerous-violation-international-law

Aboul-Gheit said Trump's decision was "against international law and raises questions over American efforts to support peace" between Palestine and Israel.

The opinion of Trump supporters is well known. Screw the Arab League. While we are at it, screw our NATO allies who have criticized Trump's decision. Screw the U.N. Security Council for the same reason. Screw everybody.

Except Trump. Trump's base has the incredible belief that Trump is always right, and everyone else is always wrong.

Which is why Trump will be a one-term President, and that is assuming he makes it through his term. That is in serious doubt. The patience of Republican leaders in Congress has to be wearing thin regarding Trump's incompetence and extremely foolish decisions.
