Did you know that during the Cuban Missile Crisis that all of Kennedy's advisors recommended an invasion of Cuba, well actually bombing them into submission but the same difference.

JFK was agreeing but during a break his brother took him into the hall and basically slapped some sense into him saying, "what the hell are you about to do"?

JFK went back to the meeting and said that was off the table and they need to find something else so they came up with the blockade.

 

Now there was an exception to the rule?

 

TDS is fascinating....really. They arent even ashamed about their hypocrisy at not including Obama in this.

 

Well I'm sure there have been more examples but that's the only one I know of with any confidence.

I do know that Lincoln once asked his advisors for input on one of his decisions and everyone in the room said he was wrong and he replied with, "good thing no one elected you to be president, they elected me".

I forget what that was about though.

 

I believe the CDC is actually going to classify TDS as an actual disease.

Lincoln, as I imagine Trump is, had little use for advisors, they already had a game plan that they were going to follow.

People like little Bush Jr. needed advisors, they liked to be the decision guy, let people work it out and pick the best option.

I don't like the national debt. However, take a look at your own chart. There was an immediate jump in the national debt when Obama took office and it went up about ten trillion from there. I complained about the national debt then and I still do.

 

Yes, Obama was a typical socialist-leaning tax and spend Democrat. What does that have to do with the Republicans increasing the national debt by cutting taxes and increasing spending?

 

Only, that the democrats said the national debt was no problem when Obama ran it up. Now it is a disaster. So far, the Trump part is just a little blip compared to what Obama did. Like I said, I don't like it, democrat or republican.

Correct and the Republicans said the National Debt was a problem from 2008 to 2016. Now they've flip-flopped. Why?

 

And you both know damned well that Bush left Obama with an economic emergency and that all that spending was to stop the hemorrhaging and prevent it from getting worse. So that spending was REPUBLICAN spending in reality. Bush made it necessary.

I don't know who "The Republicans" are. I know that there are republicans, including myself, who believe we are headed down the wrong road on national debt.

 

Made it necessary? There were a number of republicans, including myself, who did not believe we should be bailing out banks from troubles of there own making.
