    Your R president's honesty is, once again, being publicly questioned... if US Steel wanted to support his claim, they could.... Not sure how that is considered liberal politics, but knock yourself out with that claim...

    My takeaway is the president is lying again.... At this stage of his presidency, he is guilty until proven innocent...

    Rather than provide further evidence of that type of obsession, how about proving the phone call didn't take place?

    He made the same claim about Saudi Arabia.. and they said they hadn't talked with him.

    In March he claimed he was going to use US steel to build pipes for Keystone and they immediately announced, NO they were using their own steel.

    Maybe Trump just can't help himself.

    Correct. The spokesperson didn't confirm or deny a phone call took place. They only made the reasonable response that major announcements follow certain company protocols.

    But apparently all that means the phone call didn't take place, and the President lied.

    I can't grasp the mind set that is required to bark at every single one of these revenue generating dog whistles.

    I honestly, objectively, don't understand such extreme levels of emotional delirium in what I believe are otherwise capable people.

    Even if it were true, US steel wouldn't tell trump because it would be an SEC violation ... But, its a lie.. Keystone IS NOT going to use US steel to build pipelines.
