    The parade would have boosted his ego — honoring dead soldiers not so much. He is a four time draft dodger, he doesn’t care about the armed forces.

    Your comparison sucked. Trump wouldn't have missed a hole of golf over a foreign terror attack. He couldnt even miss a rally here in the USA.

    I agree with that.

    And, in my short time here, I have noticed an insidious and clever tactic, which boils down to this. "No matter how appalling he may be as a human being, even at or lower than snake or grub level, to say so, is an attack on our Commander-in-Chief, and that makes us want to support him more...no matter what sort low-life scum-bag he actually is. He is, after all, our grub, and grub though he may be, you may not be critical of him, lest we ramp up our support for a grub, because he is our grub." What I would be doing if I were in your shoes, is (a) impeach him and if that does not work, (b) make sure he never gets past the next GOP primaries.

    Many in Europe will be glad that Trump did not show up, frankly he would only of attempted to make 100 years since the guns fell silent about him anyway!

    Much respect to the brave Americans who fought and died in two world wars.

    The President is the Commander in Chief. There is little justification for missing a WW1 memorial. Using the weather is pathetic excuse to not make an appearance. Our soldiers who served and sacrificed deserved better.

    But somehow Kelly managed to heroically overcome the obstacles and attend. For Trump tweeting about how he didn't know Whitaker after he said he did was probably much more important. And besides those dead heroes couln't possibly vote for Trump.

    At his direction, American lives were lost in Afghanistan. His stance on our ROEs was suicide.

    How many leaders were there at this one ceremony? Do you know what other ceremonies are scheduled for the week?

    Do you know what time Macron and Merkel were scheduled to unveil the plaque at Rethondes, versus the time it would take for the Presidential Motorcade to travel the distance?

    Do you grasp the logistics of that Motorcade travelling 67 miles by road from south of Paris to north of Paris?

    Can the triggered be any less absurd?

    The weather didn't stop John Kelly, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and several White House staffers making the visit to Aisne-Marne cemetery. Nor did it stop Macron, May, Merkel, Trudeau etc. from visiting their nations' cemeteries yesterday. It seems Cadet Bone Spurs preferred holing up in a nice warm room rather than experiencing a little discomfort and risk getting his hair wet. This is playing real well at home.......as Trump himself would say - "It's a disgrace". :roflol:

    You know it's bad when even DPRK_News gets into the act, tweeting: "Supreme Leader Kim Jong-Un does not fear rain".........
