    So we target aircraft on the ground that minimizes the pilots being killed but ground crews could be killed or hurt as collateral damages. You need to take the good with the bad.

    when we invaded iraq it cost America a lot of money and hurt the economy for the poorer half of America, hopefully President Trump as a business man will make sure when we save countries with wars we take their oil as compensation.

    the oil monies should not go to the bankers or the richer half invested in the markets, but all Americans.

    The hope was "peace through strength", the hope was for the ability to reconcile peacefully. And of course, to avoid a major war theater. Now what we're seeing is that if we don't act, it could be another Rwanda-type tragedy. Assad forced our hands, it's not that we want war. We want peace more than anything.

    And we simply cannot stand by and watch innocent men, women and children be slaughtered either by terrorists or by Assad. The choice to do "nothing" was always a false one. The main point of disagreement was helping the terrorists. Now we know what to do: Take out both.

    I respectfully disagree. Mattie is no longer an active duty duty general officer. He shoukd only guide Trump in high policy. The Joint Chiefs shoukd be the ones who deliver the options to Trump and that should come from the commander of Central Command who is the top star of the theater that Syria is in.
