I cannot force you to actually read the numbers when they fly in the face of your beliefs but for God's sake at least be accurate about what Trump said:

“Germany, as far as I’m concerned, is captive to Russia because it’s getting so much of its energy from Russia,” Mr. Trump told the startled Mr. Stoltenberg. “We have to talk about the billions and billions of dollars that’s being paid to the country we’re supposed to be protecting you against.”

There is nothing in that statement that is false and never did he say ALL of the energy they get 70% comes from Russia. You are wrong, again.

As I woke up at 2:45 Am, and made myself some toast and coffee, I carried it into the front room and turned on the TV and switched to Fox News. They were televising the entrance into the Brussels breakfast and Trump was speaking and he lambasted those for not paying their fair share and really put it on Germany. It was a beautiful to watch.

 

Sorry, you're changing the topic. We specifically talked about the percentage regarding gas/energy imports coming from Russia, that is the topic, and Trump's claim is false. I didn't talk about the quote you just used at all and it's not the topic here.
Regarding the numbers, I've read them, they clearly say what I wrote: 50 - 75%, "Estimates".

 

And nailing them for the pipeline, as well. He was brilliant. The left is, of course, coming unglued over the US President not kissing every available Euro-a**, ala Obama.

I agree with the supposed Trump principle of getting Germany off the Russia pipeline. I said many times that the entire EU needs stop feeding from Russia which makes them dependent on Russia. What people do not realize or forgot or flat out ignore is that there was a pipeline plan to move oil and gas through Georgia and possibly part of Turkey but Russia fomented an invasion of Georgia and that stopped that deal. There was another the Middle east maybe Turkey and a small slice of Syria. See how Russia destabilized Syria.

Europe does not have many choices for renewables so they needs to have a mix of energy options which takes political will to accomplish.

So he is correct on that but of course his method may sink the message. Hope that i am wrong but almost never am wrong.

They the Congress and DOJ ARE doing something in fact one of the key players is refusing to testify today in the Congressional hearings. The IG just issued his report last month. And it may in fact not be "criminal" but that does not make it "right".

I asked for the evidence and results of collusion, you give back speculation and conjecture.

OK what dealings did Trump have with which Russian and what was the collusion and what were the results. I can give all that to you on the DNC/Clinton conspiracy and collusion.

 

He was asked by a friend, he did not seek the meeting as is being claimed. The Russian first met with Fusion/GPS, walked across the street, Trump Jr gave her all to twenty minutes before she was dismissed and she went right back across the street to report to Fusion/GPS.

The DNC/Clinton campaign SOUGHT information, SOUGHT it from foreign sources with ties to Russia, paid them and got information for their money. That is conspiracy and collusion.

There have been many indictments and arrests and such from the Mueller investigation. But I also not that you keep using the word 'collusion' as a contextualizer yet I've already stated in this thread that I don't believe there was an active collusionary deal between Trump and Putin.

I believe that Trumps properties were used by Russian Oligarchs and Mobsters to launder money via the Deutsh Bank and that while he didn't have a deal with Putin, his team actively sought assistance from Russia and others during the campaign, which is against Federal Law.

How would you know if you never read any of it? Or did you read through all of it and your a world champion speed reader? And if you remember, I asked at the beginning of this (and i'll ask again) how many coincidences need to occur before it's taken seriously? Give me a hard number. 5? 10? 19? How many?
