You might have an argument if the for example school massacres were carried out by known 'criminals' That is not the case, is it. The Uvalde killer was no crim. If his toy box did not have guns, then would he have been able to get one on the 'black market?'

I know people in low places down here, but I would not have a clue how to contact a black market for a gun. Even if I did, it would cost a bloody fortune, way beyond the budget of someone like the Uvalde killer.

Do you think criminals are born? Criminals, by definition, are law breakers. And not every criminal is a careerist. Some only commit one crime in their life.

The fact that you're too naive to know how to purchase illegal items on the Black Market doesn't mean no one else can't figure it out. The kid in Uvalde apparently had enough money not only to buy one, but two guns and tons of ammo (which isn't cheap). Plus, a criminal can rob a store these days without worrying about anyone stopping them and take the merchandise they steal and trade it for guns.

Nothing emotional about 19 dead kids. That's the reality of the USA on what seems like a daily basis. I don't find much different in moral beliefs between atheist of those of some belief in supernatural beings, religious faith. Good and evil in the real world are pretty clear.

I bought a 18 year old student I coached an AR 15 for her 19th birthday today-she picked the least expensive of the four she liked best at the shop-a nearby made Anderson Arms. it was 899/ BTW for 5 grand, you can easily get a black market AR and plenty of ammo
