What you are advocating iis that the politicians and government care for others, thereby relinquishing our own responsibilities as human beings. The government separates people from each other and, as the Democrats have demonstrated in the couple of decades, separated us into self interest groups in order for them to get elected.

Fortunately these groups, Blacks, Gays, Women, Hispanics, and others, have seen through this facade and are now looking at what's best for their country.
