The right to protest does not over ride the right to earn a living, or a peaceful existence. ( without continuous noise from horns, etc )

They have made their point. Heck.......the whole world has herd their point. ........... Fact: not everyone agrees with them .. Fact.........it is time to end it in a peaceful way.

If they lose their livelihood because they are being stubborn...........they made that choice. If their cause is more important that their ability to earn a living........ they will find that there are lasting consequences to that kind of thinking. If their bank accounts are frozen.......... their line of credit will be affected........and on it goes. Those are the potential outcomes.........

The pandmeic restrictions are being loosened in a careful, deliberate way .......and constantly evaluated....... to prevent another surge. This is very reason;able........ as public health and safety is paramount.

the pandemic has affected the economy in a negative way........and that is bad enough. CDA has done a very good job in handling the pandemic.

In essence this so called protest is just too late......... but the ones that want to over throw the gov't........ are another matter entirely. It is undemocratic........illegal, unethical........and boorish. If the y don't like Trudeau , they can vote him out.......next election. like civilized democratic nations do.

The protestors in Ottawa were not preventing one single person from making a living and did nothing to prevent the government from functioning. And the horns were not sounded after 9 P.M. in the evening.

And for the word "Tyranny," it was used on the floor of the Canadian parliament.

I can't think of a better word to use for Trudeau's over reaction in declaring a national emergency.

well..hat is YOUR opinion. Not everyone sees it your way.Businesses in the occupied area have been negatively impacted. Folks living in the area have been subjected to noise at all hrs of the day.........and obscene derogatory language.. air pollution due to the trucks ruining 24.7 An occupation is not legal. ...nor it is a "protest". Using large vehicle to occupy an area........and using children as potential shields..........is irresponsible and not a true protest.

The emergency measures invoked are limited, targeted, and narrow. They are designed to supplement the tools that the police have. the word emergency has triggered an over reaction in some. When things become to emotional.........and over reactive......... the initial objective is lost as is any credibility of what might have been a valid protest. But then that is part of group.....or mob mentality. People think they can get away with behavior in a mob that they can't on their own. It is false mob courage.
