If by Annex I countries, you mean those with emissions caps, who else would have credits to sell?

please don't ever make suppositions about what I have read and what I have not, that is just ignorant.

some of us go beyond pretty graphs and or poll numbers and actually do a bit of research on the methodology used to produce said polls and graphs. Others here are simply political demagogues that go to climate sites sponsored by K Street lobbyists and parrot what ever drivel they happen to have on any given subject.

Even the semi lazy can look at the bottom of the chart and see that 3 different data sources were used in the chart.

Some of us have inquisitive minds while others are mindless followers that accept whatever their betters tell them and never question anything. I spent a few hours yesterday learning about C4 and C3 crop yields under conditions of increased CO2 and warmer growing conditions for no other reason other than it was interesting.

Well, when you look at the North and South Poles and theyre covered with more ice than before, then you know theyre lying through their teeth.

Perhaps obama and pals should get an occasional fact before they set out to destroy the US economy based on bs.

Based on what? What caused the last ice age? Did the dinosaurs?

Has anyone else noticed that those who are quickest to call other people liars are the least likely to back up their assertions?

Yeah I am a little over the character attacks that seem to surround certain subjects. It seems all scientists are slowly being rebranded as evil geniuses all promoting their idea of the NWO. Based on my interactions with more than a few scientists over the years, nothing could be further from the truth

Have you ever noticed how crazy conspiracy theorists claim condensation in air plane exhaust is the government spraying stuff on em?

My favorite is the claim that scientists will say anything to keep their grant money coming in, like anyone would pay a scientist to tell them something they already know.

Seeing how government out spends anyone else on climate change to the tune of about 10 to 1, this has been a big gravy train for many of these scientists where that money did not exist before. The PC silencing of any opposition is also bad for science.

No supposition was necessary. For anyone who has read the paper, it was bloody obvious from your incorrect suppositions about its content that you had not.

If by "research" you mean rushing to a denier blog to find out what some fake expert is kvetching about, I'm sure that's true.
But if you mean reading actual science, there is no evidence that you fall into that group.

And that's wrong because .... because you just don't like the result and can't think of anything scientific to complain about? The fruits of your "research" certainly don't fall far from the tree.

When was the last time you questioned anything written by Steve McIntyre?

One of these days, I hope you might find climate science interesting too. But I'm betting it won't happen in my lifetime.

Well the truth is climate scientists would be still doing climate science to get a better understanding of weather. But we seem to need to forget that.

Climate science and meteorology are not the same thing.

yeah meteorology relies on scientific methods, climate science relies on political lobbying and torturing statistics

Yep! The poor schmuck freezing his "assets" off counting snowflakes in the Antarctic is so enamoured of his job that he wants to continue doing it forever: roll:
    "

And do you know what is NEVER answered? How many scientists do they think are in on the conspiracy?

no conspiracy by scientists, just good old fashioner lust for control by the politicians who control the scientists grant money. I don't blame the scientists who just need a job so they can provide for their families. Billionaires and millionaires are the ones behind the global scam

starts with the UN. But every country haws lying sacks of feces for politicians. As a Australian you should know more about that than anyone with Julia Gillard's major lie overt the carbon tax

She did not introduce a carbon tax - it was an emissions trading scheme

So every country in the world then - all 187 who signed Kyoto - and this is just so they can increase tax??? I mean that is soooo logical - after all increasing taxes has always been a popularity winner for governments hasn't it?

call it a carbon price or a carbon tax but if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it's a duck

ruined any further political aspiration she may have had didn't it ? In fact I do believe she is being investigated for fraud over some corrupt labor union slush funds isn't she ?

Actually, it would be better to have scientists in the field doing actual studies instead of pouring the lions share of funding into climate modelling.

saw a nice bumper sticker on that

97% of the climate models think the observations are wrong
