    For the first time ever?

You make it sound as if previous presidents reduced the national debt instead of also allowing it to grow

Defecit spending is a bipartisan shame

Yeah and obama pledged that he would not blow up the budget if he were elected either

    But he did

Not a massive increase either. In January we went from 3140 to 3152(+12 billion) And then we went from 3152 to 3168(+16 billion.)

The ill-fated tax bill(that POTUS Trump said he'd never sign again) definitely contributes, as you can see from July 16 to July '17(admittedly July 16 is the Obama Administration but a GOP Congress) it was decreasing/at least in its current level.

So we can't say it's drunk spending, it's the normal rate of spending as the past 16 years. Our problem isn't too much our spending, its what we're spending on. But I can't control it and neither can you. Let's take our combined complaint to the Worst Congress in US History.

    No they didn't.

When he said you can keep your plan I just laughed to myself, I knew that wasn't going to happen.

The only reason I bring it up now is because of people attacking Trump for lying.

Right ... totally ignore the $20 tn already accrued, focus on $1 tn half way through Trump's term. Never mind the OP title could be "cut & paste" 20 times ... 1st tn ... 2 nd tn ... good grief.

And I am quite sure you whined, cried, and complained about them. Now it's ok. Typical partisan hypocrisy.

Mac, that attitude is what has caused voters to accept it. I don't accept it from either party.

we are still paying for Bush's two 10+ year multi trillion dollar wars - we over reacted to that attack, it cost us Trillions, not to mention the blood and lives of so many of our soldiers

not to mention Bush's choice to nation-build in Iraq vs nation build in our own country

money Iran gave to us and we never fulfilled our side on the deal, we gave them back their own money for agreeing to the deal

Trump ended the deal, so they got their money and no longer have to honor the deal.... Trump is a idiot

now how much money did Bush spend in Iraq
