Because he didn't need to, and that's the problem.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) routinely." data-reactid="34">In 2005, they tried to “fix his paperwork,” Cindy Garcia told ABC News, but instead he ended up in deportation proceedings. Throughout the Obama administration, Jorge Garcia was able to receive multiple stays of deportation, though he had to check in with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) routinely.

But on Nov. 20, ICE told the couple that Jorge Garcia had to leave the U.S. He was going to be detained, but ICE allowed him to stay with his family, first through Thanksgiving and then through the holidays, Cindy Garcia said. However, he was told he had to leave the country by no later than Jan. 15 -- today.

Let me see... This has been going on since 2005.. The guy had YEARS to correct this issue... So For YEARS ICE under Obama did not do their jobs...

    Thanks for posting this.

I don't understand something he married the woman and has two children, couldn't the wife and children immigrate to Mexico surely they allow spouses and immediate familial members of the family to become citizens in that country at some point. There is no reason they needed to be split up.

And, since we've recently hashed out that there are no shithole countries, these people would be just fine in Mexico. No need to split them up.

Apparently his wife is glad he's out of her life or she would have gone with him.

Actually that is EXACTLY President Trump's proposal, but via Democrat Dick Durbin and the rest of the Democrats that isn't going to happen. Democrats are demanding open borders - period.

It's a logistical impossibility to do what you're asking. The best way to is to get those already here into the system, paying taxes. We have to, then, close the border and protect it with a wall and men with every tool needed to prevent people from entering illegally.

When did 'illegal alien' and 'non-White' become synonymous terms?

Race has nothing to do with immigration status. Not surprised you can’t grasp the basics of the law though.

The people destroying families are the people who support illegal immigration.

The story makes no sense anyway. If his parents became legal citizens of the US, he would have gained it as well.

Yeah because as soon as you do, there will be another flood of illegals coming in looking for their amnesty.

The US cannot support every citizen from every failed state on the earth, though that is what liberals want.

Congress is responsible for passing such laws. If the obstructionist democrats were not so petty this would not happen.

It's not an impossibility at all, especially since many, if not most, would self deport if the conditions got uncomfortable enough for them. But that's never going to happen when there are people like you holding amnesty out like a carrot to a horse.

Yup this nonsense is "ALL" Trumps fault and has nothing to do with Bushy Jr or Mr. Obatard! If the last President had of respected the law of the land Trump wouldn't be mopping up after his failed immigration policies!

There might be very rare instances, if an individual is absolutely exceptional and outstanding, you might look the other way, and let it go. And you keep it a secret, you don't advertise weakness.

But you don't change any laws, and you ride herd hard on riff-raff.

We can debate the rights and wrongs of deporting this guy, but why does he and his fellow illegals deserve full citizenship?

When you didn't need them to pick crops anymore or cut grass anymore. In the 80s when they were coming across the border and working for peanuts you weren't complaining, but when they started demanding the same wages as everyone else then its time to get rid of them.

It doesn't, well explain to me why I never hear anyone complaining about folks from Europe who are still here on expired visas, exchange students, etc.
