Good grief, this is another time when Trump should have kept his mouth shut. The man has no sense as to the impact of the words from the POTUS.

 

I like levity in a President, makes them less robotic and more human in my world!

 

He basically had to shut down his election fraud committee because they were discovering so many cheating Trump voters.

In this case I think he really wants his supporters to vote twice and he doesn't care about the consequences for his supporters who do.

 

As egocentric as he his, I wouldn't put it past him.

Mail in voting is more reliable than in person voting? Thats funny because its not empirically possible.

 

Funny how we onlu find out he's joking when people don't like what he said.

Also, usually jokes are told to get people to laugh, not recoil in horror.

Finally, this isn't a bias thing. The POTUS (any of them, though only Trump seems to have this issue) must guard their word carefully, and if they want to make a joke, they must understand the basic rule of comedy. Timing. Second rule? Know your audience.

If Trump wanted to be a comedian, he should have stuck to his show. Not become the guy who's words carry the weight the office gives them.

 

The tell, for most reasonable people, was his clear dig at the cheat-by-mail scam when he said "if their system is that good". It was a clear taunt.

The person is not voting a second time if the original ballot was tabulated. The trip to the polling site is to VERIFY the vote was received and counted. If so, the person wouldn't vote again. If not, they would get a ballot and vote (once). Admittedly, Trump does say many bizarre things but he was straightforward on this topic.

 

It was CLEARLY a dig at the cheat my mail scam dems are pushing. More importantly though people will do this and find out if their ballots were counted. There is nothing bad or wrong about asking for a little accountability.

This is the funniest example of Democrats flip flopping on an issue.

Trump has warned about mail in ballots leading to massive voter fraud.

Democrats claim that mail in voting is totally secure and voter fraud is rare.

Trump invites people to vote by mail and at the polls and in person and that your vote cannot be counted twice.

Democrats claim Trump is encouraging voter fraud.

You can't make this. up!

 

Those two sentences are not contradictory.
