    Russians are broke as is, hospitals crumbling, retirement savings are nationalized and Putin builds out the infrastructure for Assad instead of taking care of average Russian Vasia.

    Funny how the UN was just about to investigate the gas "attacks" and Trump dropped bombs on the site so as to destroy all evidence.

    Answer: he didn't do so. It was done by the USA in order to stop the UN's investigation of the site where the original bombing took place.

    Christians and other persecuted people ran to Damascus so they could be under the protection of Assad, so the city is packed to the hilt. One of the most populated areas in Damascus is exactly where the precision bombs are being dropped.

    This reminds me of Mosul, where the US told the people not to leave the city, and that they had precision bombs. The city was completely demolished, and thousands were killed. Aren't we lovely. Whatever happened to humanity and compassion - or is it a no no in our liberal new world order.

    The only thing these strikes can serve to accomplish is to accelerate the conflict and bring the US into a regional war. As deplorable as the attacks/Assad are, the fate of Syria is inconsequential to the US.
