Right, ISIS has NO helicopters or airplanes. Assad was dropping the barrel bombs and weaponized chlorine.. Victor doesn't believe in the "Responsibility to Protect"

both the Iranians and Russians are basically propping up Assad at all costs, much clearer now?

Also mention that water is wet, start off simple, and go from there.

Or in World opinion, unless it of course it is criticising Israel - then he embraces it like a child clutching their teddy bear.

ISIS declared war on KSA 4-5 years ago and have carried out dozens of suicide bombings. Dozens more have been foiled.. or the bombers blew themselves up when the Saudi police started shooting at them. Last December they got caught with a huge fertilizer bomb to blow up the new stadium in Jeddah.

Aren't all the cities in Syria pretty much destroyed already?

It was clear from the start - it was clearly not making sense.

The Iranians are fighting ISIL and Sunni Wahabism. They don't care about Assad.

The Russians, however, are fighting for Assad. They do it because an Islamist control of the region will allow the Arabic peninsula to pass a pipeline throught Syria, that will serve a part of the Euro market that Russia conrently deserve.

Reality isn't black 'n' white. It's actually quite complicated.

But according to our pro-assad friends, all that was magically achieved by isis, whose greatest weapon on the battlefield might have been an RPG - but somehow they could blow up whole cities using them.

They just needed to insert kryptonite and protomatter (purchased from Dr. Marcus' nephew) and it could blow up the whole continent if properly applied.

Yes they are.. Damascus is still in a bubble.. I'd like to see the US bomb the opera house and the palace in Damascus... as a gesture towards, "do you really want to continue the killing?"

One of Syria's serious problems was over population.. as reported in 2005. Now Iran is settling Shia Muslims from Iran, Iraq and Lebanon in Syria to change the demographic.

Yeah, I get your posturing PR, and guess what...

Your hatred of ISIL, just like hers, is limited to lip service. If you'd be honest for minute, you'll admit how much you hope they do Israel/the Saud's dirty job. Oh, you wish them harm, no doubts, like you wished HAMAS harm when you propped it up against PLO. But that is for the future, when the golem you helped created will run amok and cause much more misery.

You two make a fine pair, united in your hypocrisy.

Syria was a failed state by the time the civil war broke out. The Alawites were above the law .. free to smuggle drugs and kidnap for ransom. Agriculture and the oil sector had collapsed... inflation was rampant and Assad reacted to desperate protests by shooting the protestors.

Oh here we go, that mystical "pipeline"....

As I wrote in the other thread:

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...n-washington-dc.505023/page-2#post-1067489895

"Whenever the far left/anti-US/conspiracy theorist crowd needs to pretend they have a debate point/leg up on everyone else, they toss in some nonsensical tidbit about a pipeline somewhere, as if that A) provides cover for their complete lack of knowledge B) actually has any impact on world leaders' decisions about acting on anything."

Guess what, there's something call tankers that don't need a pipeline.

LOL, isis would never have even existed if not for iran nor would it have entered syria if iran did not enter the war there or send its terrorist proxy militias like hezbollah, basiji or iraqi shia militias in to slaughter the sunnis in syria.

Its people like you defending iran and assad who opened the floodgates for isis to thrive, grow and conquer.

Don't be stupid.. The Saudis have had the east -west pipeline for years and that accesses SUMED.. Qatar did want a gas line thru Syria but Syria's history of sabotage of TAPLINE means that isn't feasible... Nobody invests that kind of money in a country that's so unstable.

Qatar can run a pipeline to Sidon and avoid Syria altogether or use the Saudi east-west pipeline.

Yes and this attack had little to do with Assad. He's winning quite decisively. We will not be interfering in that.

This very limited action was directed purely at Iran and was intended purely as an attention getter. To me kinda saying we are watching you and if we tell you too stop you better listen.

My guess is setting up for Assad's inevitable victory and the fall out that will be a result.

But hey it's a Syrian post so by all means lefties use it as a soap box to scream anti Assad mumbo jumbo

Ha ha ha what a load of horsepuckey you unloaded to mask zionist support of ISIL. If it wasn't for the US and Israel the ME would be quite a placid region (like they were before you guys barged in).

Iran is fine by me. Iran never bothered me a day in my life. I hope they get the Bomb, and assume their place of natural leadership in their region.

Yeah sure Margot... Putin fights ISIL just because he can't resist Assad's deep brown eyes... And the Saud just love secular, shia regimes in the region.

    Don't lose your time.

The sunni world will never allow assad a victory there; they know the country was 85% sunni and will never let it go, they'll spend the next 10,000 years attacking his regime, terrorism, etc., there will NEVER be a stable syria. The best hope is to partition the country, give the alawites a piece of land in the NW in their stronghold, and split the rest between the kurds up north and the sunnis elsewhere.

I am assuming since you gave up trying to debate in this thread after getting pounded, you're opting for humor...claiming the mideast was "peaceful"....

Sure, they aren't shooting members of your family or dropping bombs on you. Everyone loves iran - who of course lives no where near it or its terrorist proxies.

But but but you said iran was working only on nuclear power and not building a bomb? Change your story again for the 100th time? Is it Tuesday?
