You realize those examples may be buying oil right? Is there something wrong with buying oil from foreign countries? Heck I agree we should use our own oil.
Just lots of countries that don't recognize Maduro. Hopefully this will cause the u.s. not to recognize him too. I don't think we should have any involvement whatsoever with Venezuela, let Brazil handle it.
We're kicking the dictator and his associates. He in turn kicks the people of Venzuela and blames us.
They are trying to do the same here. Notice how the liberal far left wants the same policies as Venezuela.
Maduro and his fellow socialists are unpopular because they destroyed Venezuela's democracy and economy. What is happening there is no different than what has happened in every socialist shithole that went Full Retard... The Babeuvian Illiterati never learns. All Venezuela is missing is a massive Gulag archipelago, but Maduro & Co. are working on it...
Ok. Since you are obtuse about this ...... "you serious?" Yes. "are you defending the dictator Maduro and is tyrannical socialist regime ?" Are you imagining some sort of a defense of Maduro in my OP?
Could any socialist here actually explain why you support socialism? It doesn't work. Seriously, it just doesn't work.
I love this arrogance. people entering a thread and offering their opinion in a website that is for that it's not trashing a thread. Whining at people for having a different opinion than you and then boohoo ain't about these different opinions trashing a thread is trashing a thread
That's ridiculous. Venezuela military defends protests role, backs Maduro congress... The military defended its record during the protests, in which Maduro opponents have staged daily demonstrations demanding elections, humanitarian aid to offset a brutal economic crisis, and ... https://www.reuters.com/article/us-venezuela-politics-idUSKBN18L2LB CARACAS (Reuters) - Decried by protesters as “murderers” defending a dictator, Venezuela’s military insisted on Thursday it was not taking sides in the national political turmoil, though it did back socialist President Nicolas Maduro’s controversial plan for a new congress. continued
In their minds, supporting left-wing dictators is okay compared to the right supporting right-wing dictators. For my part, I'm an unapologetic Authoritarian. You know this. To me, Authoritarianism derives its power off of the Effectiveness of the State. It's hypocritical of us to determine these things from afar(especially if we're not going to fully flex our weight into dictating Latin America), but I do agree that Maduro has been ineffective and thus his Authoritarianism is something I disapprove of. In the same way that China's human rights violations legitimize toppling its government, or North Korea's or the 'Allah's of Iran.
Not as ridiculous as Democrats and progressives trying turn the United States into a socialist hell hole.
