I do not blame President Obama for the deaths of these Americans. Rather, I take issue with his milquetoast response, which has vacillated a bit.(President Obama's second-in-command, Vice-President Biden, has boldly proclaimed that the US will chase these evildoers to "the gates of hell"; but it remains unclear if that includes their safehouse in Syria.)

 

"Chase them to the gates of Hell" is a pretty cool phrase.

If Biden plans to chase Mid-Eastern rebels to Paris, sounds like as good a plan as any I've heard.

It would make the Mid-East safer for elite royalty and tyrants like Bashar Assad and General al-Sisi, but I pity the Parisians having to put up with Biden..

Actually, no. The majority of the credit lies with Soviet Russia and the 20 million dead she sacrificed fighting fascism on the Eastern Front. By the time you got involved Hitler was already on the road to defeat, had suffered a catastrophic reversal to his plan for invading Britain, due to the Battle of Britain in 1940 and our resulting aerial supremacy over the English Channel. He never tried again.
