don't flee and wont get shot as a fleeing criminal and will have your day in court

when your resisting arrest, the crime is being committed real time, the cops are witnessing it - don't flee and you will have a day in court, flee and may be shot

 

A child who has not threatened anyone with that weapon?

 

That is not a death penalty offense in any court in the land

 

No I don't agree simply for fleeing . However, this is less egregious than supporting shooting for minor crimes. The goal should be to bring them to justice alive, not send them to their maker without trial. However, if he points a weapon at the officer or poses an imminent threat, and he is killed, I'd call it suicide by cop.

The man who says his truck is the one a teen was burglarizing prior to police fatally shooting him is speaking out. He now admits he's not sure what all was inside the vehicle.

of course they will try what they can to arrest them alive, but when you flee you take your chances of getting shot - if it looks like they wont be able to catch a dangerous criminal and they will get away, shooting is the only option
