Seeing as how they only get to shoot people fleeing under very, very, narrow circumstances instead of "hes running fair game" you're talking out of your ass.

 

So shoot children running from the cops?

 

if a teen is robbing a bank, and they run, yeah, they may get shot - teach children not to rob banks or run from cops after they commit crimes

 

why would someone busted for littering flee

but then again if running from jaywalking, why are you fleeing really? what did you really do or think the cops where busting you for?

 

so do white people, that is why we comply and do not try to flee, we fear being shot and killed

if one fears cops, do not commit crimes, then no need to flee

Many cops dont need an excuse...a moving target does make it harder

 

yes, many criminals kill you too.... not sure your point, bad cops exists, doesn't give you an excuse to flee all cops when you commit a crime

if you flee and a cop is having a bad day, white or black it may be a bad day for you... best to comply

I also support cop cams as a requirement and any cop caught without their cop cam in a serious incident is assumed guilty - in this day and age, no excuse not to be wearing a cop cam

 

There is no excuse to shoot a scared child who is running from the cops for a minor crime. In some neighborhoods that fear is justified

we need to better educate our kids about committing crimes and fleeing from cops then.....

 

They watch tv and they see the beatings....they have been educated

 

if a cop can tell it's a child, I agree, if they looks like an adult, they may get shot

that fear is never justified as an excuse to flee after committing a crime - obey the cops - fear the gangs

 

I'm sure you meant to say 'I hope justice is done and this heroic officer is exonerated'

 

For minor crimes? That is horrific

 

1. Yes he could, he could see the kid turn towards him with a gun or point it at someone else
2. He was hauling body armour and belt kit which weigh a tone
3. He was hyperventilating because he was SCARED, running towards an armed and dangerous criminal who could blow his head off!

Let me guess, you never served in the police or military?

 

I think that your stance on this is much too harsh. The death penalty shouldn't result just because someone is fleeing, imo.

He was if he turned towards the officer with the gun
