    Even your opinion Johnny?

Or are you wrong about "everything changes" too? :)

I'm less than a grain of sand propelled by the wind, to include my thoughts. I've been around long enough to realize and accept that what we know or think we know... isn't all there is to know or consider.

It's all a matter of realizing that we only know part of what may be.

I've seen more stability and substance in a blow of Jello, Johnny.

So, as the winds of change blow towards the realization of individuals inalienable rights to keep and bear arms, so too will your opinion?

This is how it should be, but the second ammendment exists. You cant restrict firearms in the US without ammending the constitution. Its not going to happen.

Not God, though thanks for the compliment. Just a reasonably intelligent human being who recognizes the harm that weapons do. Try it. I bet you can do it too.

for years scholars ignored the second amendment and anti gun scum in office raped the 2A. but then the scholars started noticing and when Sanford Levinson, a Yale Law Journal editor and chaired professor of constitutional law at Texas wrote The Embarrassing Second Amendment in the Yale Law Journal in (IIRC) Nov 1989, the tide started turning Liberal law professors started agreeing with the conservatives that the 2A really was an individual right-something we on the pro gun side knew all along. and then this tidal wave swept aside the idiocy of the DC law banning handguns.

the same ground swell is seeing the rape of the tenth amendment and the mutation of the commerce clause by the odious FDR administration in the same way. There is no proper federal power to regulate firearms-PERIOD.

Remember, with the 2nd Amendment we can regain our other rights if need be. An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject. Every rabid anti-gunner I have ever known seemed exactly like the type that would be content with polishing the boots of the British.

Unfortunately, while nature takes its course, these idiots are also causing a lot of collateral damage.

So do fire ants, and the introduction of foreign species to established ecosystems.

    What is the point?

I just had to lol at that little tid-bit. A career criminal is also an armed man... So they are more of a citizen than an unarmed person.
All these gangbangers that run the crime stats up are have the right to bear arms too right?

Consider re-phrasing that segment so as to not deteriorate your point.

I love this myth, I mean when does this kick in? Do you vote with a gun in hand? Mind you that might have been necessary when voting was public but since then we Aussies have invented something called a "secret ballot]" and it means you do not need a gun to cast a vote

And lol to the idea that an armed man is a citizen - an armed man is easily just a thug wanting to promote anarchy

Evidently so as you Libs refuse to keep them in prison or let us execute them.

You mean the same Aussies we saved from the Japanese? Perhaps you have forgotten that w/o our help you'd be speaking Japanese now.

Switzerland also has a very small standing army and relies on the citizenry who undergo compulsory annual military training as to act as a militia in case of emergency. The majority of those keeping their military-supplied arms at home are very well trained. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_of_Switzerland

Bro, whatever beef you have with liberals, take it up with them. I'm using logic argue your stance, not emotion.
What does prison have to do with a bunch of armed home invaders that the police have not caught?
Are you trying to say that crimes are only committed by people that have left prison?

Look, here is the crux of the matter... you said
An armed person = upstanding citizen
But the following is also true......
An Armed person = home invaders / store robbers / gangbangers
    So in other words......
Home invaders / store robbers / gangbangers = upstanding citizens

Now that you see the degree of irrationality that you made in your initial post... Are you prepared to rephrase?

Dial back the hero mode for just a second and explain to me who is this "we" you are talking about.
Because the way how I remember events, it was the American military that chimed in to assist.
Are you telling me that you do not draw a distinction between American Military and American armed citizens?
Careful how you answer... it will tell us how deeply ingrained this "hero" phenomenon is

You mean in the war that you would not have won without our intelligence and efforts. You sent McCarthy here - and you expect US to be grateful??

no, we have the right to protect our homes with guns.

we should also be able to concealed carry handguns, but with strict rules and mandatory training sessions.
