Yes, you know the external gender characteristics and nobody has said you didn't. What you don't know is their gender identity. You know you can't see someone's inner self like you can their genitalia, right?

 

Your physical gender is your body. Your mental gender is the end result of whatever occurs in your brain that produces "you" Your consciousness. We can easily see the external physical gender characteristics. You can't see someone else's "you" as it exists in their own consciousness.

The grooming protocols have been quite effective, especially for teen age girls.

 

Why? They have boys and girls locker rooms. Use the one that you are. There can be 40 boys on the football team. Do you how big the locker room would have to be to give them each a private dressing room and shower?

 

Why not? And for one it's a LOT cheaper to build and a lot less space. Why should they have to because a guy wants to dress with the girls?

 

Why shouldn't the guy, why does everyone else have to bend over to accommodate his outrageous demands. He can go get dress in the boys lockerroom.

...To have the person in question dress separately...(NOT in the locker room)...

Well I'm glad to see girls standing up to this I think the only real solution is none of them play on the volleyball team let them feel the team of just one transgender see how well that goes.

 

It’s been years since I heard of a pink belly. If anyone did it today people would be arrested.

 

My high school was built in the 1920s and we had open showers for the boys. A hundred years ago, if someone suggested customizing the women's/men's showers for people who think they're the opposite gender all hell would have broke loose. Then psychology got woke and called it normal

 

How could you despise all sports? I no longer watch baseball because of the strike and football because of the kneeling, but when I was growing up I played football, baseball, softball, coed softball, golf, hockey and billiards.

 

You're a reasonable guy, so let me ask you this:

If someone truly believed and was totally and absolutely convinced he's the president of the United States, should he be allowed to sleep in the White House and get Secret Service protection, or is there something wrong upstairs?

At some point a line has to be drawn and I don't think some people are willing to do it.

I also despise jocks and muscleheads. How fortunate we all are there are none such here.

 

Sport is always at the end of the day. It's one full afternoon per week. They go straight home afterwards.

PE here is rarely so intensive that it leads to sweat, FTR. It's more agility, flexibility, and coordination stuff. We also don't have airconditioned schools, but then all this kind of thing is done outdoors. We don't really have indoor sport facilities in our schools. In fact you're lucky if there's a vaguely maintained soccer field and a couple of basketball hoops.

I'm not sure if we're dirtier than Americans, but again, these things are really cultural. School life for our kids is fairly peripheral .. even when they're in the most intensive parts of it. It just doesn't invade much of their lives. No school lunches or cafeterias, very few clubs/societies, almost no extra-curricular stuff, and 'going away to college' is rare. Kids commute to their nearest university, and only go to campus when they absolutely have to.

 

Yeah it does and I think it's starting. But if women don't want to change in front of guys they have to object there's nothing I can say. Compete with transgenders I understand I completely agree but it's not my competition. I can say whatever I want but I can't do anything.

 

Ok. How about this then. If you're a boy, you use the boy's locker room. If you're a girl, you use the girl's locker room. Case closed.

 

Why should anyone care about your "inner you"? Anybody can claim that their "inner you" is XYZ. Doesn't mean we should care. Nor should we force society to kowtow to your "inner you". If someone doesn't address you the way you want them to...grow thicker skin and get over it. Don't throw a tantrum and act like a 3 year old demanding their teddy bear back from the laundry pile.

 

Fine by me. But first we have to stop trying to confuse men as women and women as men. They are biologically different. 300 years from now a person isn't going to be looking at your bones and thinking "oh, this person was biologically a male but they identified as a woman". They're going to be thinking "oh, this was a male".

Always seemed odd that they claim gender is nothing but a social construct, and yet they claim it is an inherent characteristic of the individual.

no it’s not.

the showers are designed based on throughput, the expected number of people at any given time that must circulate through the area for x amount if time.

you have to carry away the water in many more drains, provide more faucet and water temp valves, and plan for x amount of hot water which is greater.

you have to create and tile MANY more cubicles and use doors and hardware, or use more HDPE stalls and SS hardware for x amount of people.

the list goes on, it’s very expensive. Your example is not a solution.
