He has a real genius for saying things that he can plausibly deny were suggestive of anything offensive.

Everybody has been saying that they need DC shaken up (lobbyists, bureaucrats, etc.) and have been 'begging' for a Trump-type person!!!

Kinda reminds me of the Jewish leaders looking for their Messiah and then killing Him when He came along because He didnt meet their mold...

    Going with that analogy:

He threatened the Jewish leaders (priests) 'jobs,' was offensive with His language (called a 'blasphemer'), was a populist among the ppl, so.......

Guess that makes Mitt Romney their 'High Priest' then, huh...[IMG]

    Trump is "Messiah":omg: Jesus Christ!

I guess Messiah doesn't insult Carly Fiorina by saying, "Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that?":steamed:

    "If..........you might be a Pharisee"

    How about:

Matthew 23:33 (Jesus to the 'political' leaders of his time)
"You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?

    and

Matthew 23:2727 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.

Is that coarse enuf for you?!

I have to laugh listening to a FOX pundit saying that Trumps trade policies will be disastrous to the country. How have current trade policies benefited the country?

Trump is nobody's 'personal' messiah...but he could be the Republican party's messiah which has fragmented and gone downhill the past 8+ years! May be the answer to a 3rd party not happening, but a revamp of the Republican party by "We the People!'

    Something 'drastic' needs to happen!!

FOX pundit would do research, has information and knowledge about what he says, as opposed to Trump. We got to believe what the journalists across the TV Channels are saying.

Just because (you think) current trade policies did not benefit the country, we don't want to try out Trump's Trade Policies, which we already know are disastrous!

Looks likely doesn't it. Not saying it is a good reflection on America or it's voters, just saying it is looking very likely.

A New York professor whose formula has proven accurate in every presidential election but one since 1912 says Donald Trump has a 97.6 percent chance — or better — of taking the White House if he’s the Republican nominee.

Political-science Professor Helmut Norpoth, of Stony Brook University on Long Island, created a statistical model for presidential elections using candidates’ primary results and other data to predict the victors, and he’s making Trump an all-but-sure thing this year.

Well you have you understand that Mom thinks powerful is the same as great. Some more thoughtful people may have different opinions of what makes a country great, but if the definition is raw military power than we probably are still a great country.

Trump reminds me of a boss I once had, who after giving him a 3 min briefing on my project & it's status would go into a high-level meeting and give a 15 min presentation on it!

He was personable, somewhat of a 'rascal,' but everybody couldnt help but like him...BS and all!

But he also knew and acknowledged that his success was due to all the great talent of those working for him. He was a big picture guy, a natural leader, and let his 'talented underlings' handle the details.......

That is "exactly" what a good boss/leader does. No one can wear all the hats or be in the thick of it without missing something important. Successful people (leaders) surround themselves with the experts to advise and experts to perform the job.

Did you ever see a cardiac arrest? It looks chaotic to the onlooker but it's not. The Dr asses and directs. The Dr stands at the head or foot of the bed while the nurses and ancillary hospital staff perform the necessary treatments. If he were instead involved doing the hands on work, he might miss something important.

So if Trump reminds you of your boss, that's a compliment. Yes just a different circumstance but both are geared toward accomplishing and getting the job done.

The same could be said for Donald Trump who has been sued for fraud more times then any other President.

While I'm no Hillary fan, she may be a liar like Trump, but at least she doesn't resort to sexual innuendo's in public like he does. No wonder the RNC can't stand him and wants to do everything possible to keep him from being the Presidential candidate and thus destroying what's left of the Republican Party. I'd do the same if I were in their shoes. :)

Go back and look at my post. It was a parody of the post I quoted. I think they are both harmful candidates to the country. I will admit that Donald and Bernie being outsiders to the dnc gop stranglehold makes me root for them regardless.

The debate last night was 'embarrassing' (more than the previous ones!) for Trump supporters!

The details coming out about Trump Univ, illegals working his building projects, doing more than waterboarding--they will do it because I'll tell them to, the numbers on his cuts and the deficit, his flip-flopping and support of many of the 'worst' Democrat politicians over recent years, giving Russia & Putin any kind of praise, reverting back to "Little Marco," etc. etc. etc.

I'm thinking about going back to my original pick last year of Kasich! Great at everything but lacking charisma...but comes across as principled

so what you want is a bought and paid for politician, that is what you will get more of the same,so yes by all means for an establishment politician and get more of the same.
19 trillion dollar debt, and that debt came from both the republicans and democrats, the only person in this race that has built anything is TRUMP.
like him or not nobody owns DONALD TRUMP.

how so,wh have an 19 trillion dollar debt and you want to elect another establishment politician, you might want to rethank that.
the only person in this race that ever built anything is DONALD TRUMP,sure he is not a polished politician ,but he speaks AMERICAN, he is not politically correct ,and that seems to upset the PC police in the news media and the republican party.

    run don run

The problem with this analogy is that he isn't the only one on the ship. A Captain who makes it off his sinking ship to live and sail another day while leaving the crew and passengers behind is not a "successful" Captain. That's certainly not a man you want in charge of 300+ million people.

As is being said, he is a 'target rich' environment for the Democrats in the national election.

And, the establishment Republicans are making political ads and giving ammo to the Demos...better hope Hillary is indicted (which with her sucking up to Obama and her deal made extended his legacy, not to mention knowing where the bodies are buried, is highly doubtful)!

Everyone seems to be awed by the fact that he is rich. But, money and richness is not the only sign of success. Not everybody's goal in this world is money! People have different goals, there are several people in America who have been successful in several different fields. For example, Ben Carson is a Neurosurgeon. Can Donald Trump ever be a Neurosurgeon?? I don't think so. He loved earning money, and he did it. That's all about it. Many people know this, "the more money you have, the easier it would be grow it". If I inherit $200 million and work for 40 years on it, I could make it to $4 billion too.

He is successful, just like all others running for President. It's just that they are from different fields. Treating him as the only capable person and the rest as failures, is not correct.
