Finally, someone who gets it!! Funny how the party makes such an effort to bus, drive, taxi their people to the polls, or help them complete and mail their ballots.... but won't lift a finger to help them get an ID.

I live in Illinois and have voted in every election in the last 22 years. I have NEVER been asked to produce a Photo ID.

And yes, we do have conservatives here, as I'm sure Hawaii does.

Well, so much for your credibility.

Please provide VERIFIABLE PROOF that minority voting has GONE DOWN where Voter ID laws have into
effect, or stop making a FALSE CLAIM.

I do not think you are in a position to question anyone's credibility. I produced my papers just a moment ago to buy a pack of smokes, is that nazi germany like ?

Because buying cigarettes is the same as voting? And you're calling other people stupid?

Wow, talk about not being in a position to judge...

absentee ballots could be notarized too.... but of course sense most republicans are too lazy to hit the voting booth, republicans do not want to require proof there

Oh, so you only have a problem with producing paperwork when it comes to electing the people who make the decisions of whether or not we need " paperwork" to obtain consumer goods and other basic functions/needs. How cute.

    According to this: http://ballotpedia.org/State_by_State_Voter_ID_Laws

    Illinois states this:

Two forms of identification are needed, with at least one showing the voter's address. Valid identification includes photo and non-photo ID. Voters using Early Voting must provide a photo ID, such as an Illinois driver's license, state ID card or a U.S. passport.[19]

    Yes...
It reminds me of people who are buying alcohol, or cigarettes, or checking books out at the library, or getting new tabs for their car, or insurance for their car, or to even drive their car, or seeing a doctor, or writing a check, or buying a home, or even renting a home, or adopting a pet, or buying a gun, or getting a hunting permit, or a fishing license, or getting a hotel room, or teens trying to see an R rated movie, or to buy a cell phone, to enter a casino, to buy certain cold medicines, and to get a permit for one of those ridiculous parade/sex things the gays put on all over the country.

What a horrid past it's been.

But your theory is not supported with facts

from the last completed election cycle with ID laws in place, minority votes increased.

We will get the full skinny after this one.............and those that were too lazy or ignorant of the laws will correct their actions if they wish to vote in 2016

They absolutely can vote, with the same IDs they use to get Food Stamps, ADC, etc., ALL OF WHICH REQUIRE PHOTO ID.

Why do only Fraudocrats call their OWN VOTERS TOO STUPID/INCOMPETENT to obtain an ID?

EVERYONE ELSE needs an ID, too, don't they?

Your whine was about "producing papers" reminding you of some past.... now that you're called out on such a stupid comment...
you're going to backpedal and stick exclusively with voter ID....

    ff, that was lame.

    And quite predictable.

I agree, what a disrespectful way to treat your own voter base.

But the truth is, those voters are actually too stupid to see it.

In texas, both require "papers". Now tell me, what does attempting to slow down voting fraud have to do with Adolf Hitler and his Jew killing nazis?

I find it interesting that apparently it's only democrats or liberals who are being "discriminated" against. You would think conservative minorities, elderly, and poor would be affected by this as well but oddly enough according to the claims on this board it has only struck one side. Either everyone who is incompetent or irresponsible enough to get an id is on one side or both sides are losing out on votes from people who don't have ids. Which is it?

This is how the republicans intend to remain in control of the state of Texas. They ought to be ashamed of themselves.

funny how individual cases of voter fraud are to be dismissed as "not reflective of a system of corruption"

but when it's individuals not being allowed to vote.... it's reflective of the entire system....

funny how the hypocracy works in the liberal mind
