    The house was super unfair. I’m sure trump is eager to cooperate with the senate and it’s fair process!

    It's not "too soon", it'd just require the House to retract it's current "impeachment" and go back to the House to do what it should've done the first time.

    Republicans - The House could never ask the courts to enforce a subpoena against the executive branch.

    Also Republicans - “The president’s opponents, in their rush to impeach, have refused to wait for judicial review."

    The DOJ said there's no precedent for such a ruling, but that doesn't mean the Court can't find or create precedent(such is the terrifying power of the Court. Who has become our true master. Politicians be damned. I find that as the Court continues to make political rulings, both sides will find this arrangement both unhealthy and unacceptable.)

    Why wouldn't the Democrats want to see if the argument is defeated? By not trying the case, the Democrats are accepting Trump's argument as legal and valid.

    No I mean Schiff can't read the polling numbers of 50/50 and make the inference that impeachment is gonna needlessly provoke half the country with no tangible win. He good at making some inferences yet not good at making others..... Hmmm

    They do expect to see that argument defeated in the appeals court... and then Trump goes to the SCOTUS... and more waiting happens...

    In the meantime, Trump attempts to steal the next election..

    On balance, you move forward and not play the game Trump wants to play.
