    You can compare it to the flu, without equating it with the flu.

    Did the 1918 influenza never go away? This virus may be something we have to deal with long term, but vaccines will be developed and people will build up immunity. Do you think the stock market will be crashing forever because of this?

    The Chinese don't have our environmental regulations/red tape.

    With technology classes can certainly continue from home.

    Who is for not spending any money on the problem?

    Do some of you still think this is being overhyped? This is nothing. This is the calm before the storm. That's how exponential growth is. 1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128 (still small, right), 256, 512, 1024 (getting bigger!), 2048, 4096, 8200 (that escalated quickly)16,000, 32,000, 64,000, etc.

    I remember WWIII it came after the fake Trump Russia Collusion. Don't worry the Leftists will inevitably think they can negatively tie a virus to President Trump even though California Gov. Gavin Newsome complimented Trump on the response to the virus as did the leader of the World Health Organization.

    A good part of this isn't Trump's fault though. It's confusing as to why it's spreading, particularly and most concerningly to those who've neither been to Wahan or the Princess Cruises. I'm telling people, I really think airborne transmission is a possibility(I mean we're talking about dry coughs and all.)

    People who travelled to China brought it back and didn't know they were infected. Then they went to work, and shopping, and to sporting events or nightclubs or wherever. Now we have some community spread.

    1) Will he wear his MAGA hat?
    2) Will he throw his supporters under the bus, declaring that covid is not like the mild cold, but much more dangerous?

    If 2) happens, watch all resident Trump fans forget tomorrow morning that they downplayed the virus for the last two weeks.

    This isn't one of those 'it takes a village' moments. This is about protecting ourselves. We know who handled it poorly, it isn't us. Trump restricted travel, liberals called him a racist. CDC used non-invasive self quarantine instead full panic 'shut the country' down and liberals and the media fearmongered and attempted to create panic. What happens outside our borders isn't ours to control. There have been more murders this year in Baltimore than total coronavirus deaths. In the big picture this isn't nearly what liberals and the media are making it out to be...
