If it had been a gun free zone no one would have died, but the problem is Guns can be concealed and it is quite difficult to apprehend and some states are selling them like those dangerous things are a commodity.
But on the other hand do we counter bombs with hand grenades, I think it's time for more strict and effective personal security catering from professional pools who knows that business very well. I don't want to see my grandma carrying Kalashnikov going to Church or the pastor having his 45 Colt while serving a sermon it's an old old west passe and is not civilized if it's displayed in public.

 

You assume the would be, mass shooter would have respected a posted sign, after he demonstrated a willingness to break homicide laws?

 

Please explain. Would the shooter simply have looked at the sign, gave a big sigh, then turn around and gone home?

 

If a gun ban is effectively imposed the would be mass shooter would never have a gun to use with.

You can make a case for concealed vs open carry-but there will always be someone with a gun.

You can make the argument for professional security but the reality is that costs money and isn't always feasible.

 

Most of the time a shooter did already killed before being subdued, arming communities will not deter a suicidal maniac armed to the teeth, A close community tie and an excellent community watch is required, no need for them to be armed they can call the police whenever suspicious men are within their vicinity.

 

Yup, with the second amendment I could refer why ownership of guns did flourish, but we still have a very free state. Yes you are correct it is quite difficult to impose gun ownership control. But I hope that most of the citizenry still will abide with the law and the use of the gun is only for last resort or life threatening circumstances.
