Yes, Virginia doctors visit patients. This child has apparently been visited by squads of Doctors and tested extensively. His medical condition has been thoroughly documented.
In the age of Digital Medical Records every detail can be sent in seconds for review by any licensed doctor the parents choose. This is the 21st century, not the 19th.
