I was proud of the advances we'd made on racial equality before the racists took office. I was proud of immigrants coming to American and finding opportunity before our government announced the American Dream was dead. I was proud we declared war on the Japanese and the Nazis in WWII before we quit declaring war and attacked other countries on orders of foreigners. I was proud we stood by our allies back when the U.S. had allies.
Would you say that Obama ruined the nation, or the voters? I blame the voters for the 2nd election (2012). There was no question that Obama would win the first election. He had momentum from the wars and the "hope and change". He was a sure-thing. But after his disaster of a first term, he was voted back in. For that, I don't blame him, I blame the voters. Now it's 10X worse, and people are struggling to find a way to defend him.
I'm proud of american spirit and moral courage. Yes, I DO. I think that it's cool when my country can have trillons dollars debt and let it pass. It' cool when army of my country can bomb any other country in the world and than 70% of world's population will believe that America presented them a happiness of democracy and freedom. I believe that we everybody have to be proud of american LGBT community and legalized weed. America is the paradise for millions of immigrants. Just 50 years ago America had racial segregation.I love it. God bless America!
Most of all, I am proud of the people. The people that established this state. The people that fought for the freedom and for what they believed was right. The people that gave their lives away for the sake of the common well-being. The people that landed on the Omaha beach and kicked the Nazi asses. THE PEOPLE.
And I'm proud of the way that Israel has really tried quite hard to remain at peace with most of its neighbors, despite the fact that so many idiots, on BOTH sides try so hard to push all the Semites, Jew AND Arab, into war with their brother peoples. God save Israel and Islam from their enemies, and even more so from their friends
