And you REALLY think that's going to help??? As for me the meat wagon would be picking up what was left of them.

Also depends how close your nearest neighbor is, don't want any collateral damage, that's why I don't use a .44 Mag

Oh, come on people, those of us that have a CWP don't carry half the time. Let's get real.

What's the worse that can happen? I die? Look at it this way, no more taxes, no more worries.

I have four 1911's and I love them. My most accurate is my Kimber Target Stainless II. I have a friend with a Novacks; and I have to say my Kimber is easily as accurate at half the price. Which 1911's do you have? I have the Kimber, an old Colt Officer, the Smith&Wesson 1911Sc (made out of the element Scandium), and a Springfield Armory USGI.

Sure - a handful out of the many hundreds thousands that did tours. That movie Rambo was not indicative of reality. Everyone is going to die of something. Odds of it happening from a thug are miniscule. You are more apt to die falling off a ladder or being hit by lightning. But if you have a mortality statistics document for anyone who did tours in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea etc; I would certainly be interested in seeing it.

I don't think I have ever seen a sub MOA 7MM Mauser. Not even my extremely rare Gewehr-43 is capable of 3 inch group on my Coleman Lead Sled bench rest. My most accurate weapons are 0.25 MOA; but those are a pair of Remington PSS's. Three inch groups at 400 meters is unheard of and I shoot about 5 days a week and can't fathom that kind of accuracy.

As an interested civilian I suppose. Everyone should be afforded an opinion regardless whether they have a dog in this hunt or not.

Kind of a defeatist attitude. Yea, I may die. But if its at the hands of someone looking to do me or my family harm. I will die with a grip in my hand a pile of brass under me.

Three Colts. A Series 80 full size, a stainless comander, and a stainless Defender.
Plus two Rock Islands. A full size and a compact. All in .45 and a GSG in .22 for messing around.
Two Smith and Wesson 686s, one in 3" and one in 4". An Airweight in .38 and a .500 Mag in 4". Plus a Glock 19, and a Berreta 92FS both in 9mm.
Do I need to keep going?
I know people that have Kimbers, they either love them or hate them. They didnt get the name Jambers for nothing.
Chips are down and I have to fight my way out of my home, its the Series 80. Been worked alittle, tigger, short brake, Chip McCormak 10 rnd mags, Pachmayr grips.
Backed up by the 3" 686 that has been MagNaPorted.

I have never had any of my 1911's stovepipe after the first 25 rounds. My collection includes:
My four 1911's, about three or four Glocks, a pair of XD's, some C&R stuff like a P38, CZ52, a broomhandle, a S&W model 29, an S&W 500 magnum, a Raging Bull, a MAC M11A1, a Lady Smith (don't ask!), a Taurus P99 (Barettta 92 clone), a Ruger 22, and maybe a few other odd things I am not thinking of. Sidearms aren't really my passion - I am really into long rifles. That's the lions share of my collection. I probably only have 20 or so sidearms; but I must have at least 50 or 75 long rifles. Maybe even closer to 100. I have four of those big 36 rifle safes, and each one is pretty filled to the rim and you have to juggle things around just to get them to all fit.

Sna, I'm talking about a Sako 7MM Mag using a 150 grain Remington Swift Scirocco bullet. I have no doubt that I will be able to do the same thing at 600 yards. At 200 yards I can do the same thing with any of my mid-range weapons, .270, .308. or 30/06. With hand loads we are looking to push that out to 800 and 1000 yards. It depends upon the person, weapon, type of ammunition, and weather conditions. I have only been shooting for 60 years.

And I look at it this way, you try to kill me and I'll do my best to kill you first. Just the way I'm put together.

They can have an opinion but it's next to worthless. Just like your byline is worthless, I'm both a senior citizen and a service vet and condemn the Democrat party for being Neo-Comms till my dying day because that's just exactly what they are.

Home defense? IP Cameras and multiple signs outside which warn about the cameras.

It would be funny if I was a foreigner visiting the United States and everyone was carrying a gun and everyone had dogs, camera's, and back-off signs on their homes. Not so much cowboys as widespread paranoia and bravado, if not an undercover wish to shoot someone.

I've always wondered how many cops join the force looking forward to using their guns. From one angle, hearing a cop say "I'm bored" is normal. From another, creepy.

Now THAT Really SCARES them doesn't it. A simple mask just outsmarted your cameras.

If my byline was worthless, then why did you take the time to respond to it??

We need to start thinking logically here buddy. Since people that are similar to you don't know how to think rationally I will break it down for you. The signs are in my backyard. 99.99% of Criminals do not purposely want to go into houses with residents present, their main objective is getting money/valuables not a call to 911. Even a quarter-brained criminal will knock on your front door to check if anyone is home. The camera in my front door will catch anyone knocking and the one in my driveway will catch anyone walking on to my property. They would look too inconspicuous if they walked down my block with a mask on or if I answered my door and saw a guy wearing a mask in front of me. Please refute me.

Just to let you know that there are service vets and Senior citizens that totally disagree with the nonsense your spewing. And also to let you know what a bunch of us think of your New American Communist Party that's hiding under the disguise of progressives, liberals, or Democrats.

And you never thought of them coming across the back yard with a mask and going through a window?? Most break ins are NOT done from the front of the house, or did that escape your attention to detail?? Or the side yard, etc, etc, etc. Hey, Jack, I don't need lessons from a hair brain on break ins. Reserve police officers are also out on them. As I have told most everybody, I was one for 3 years, I also have 3 son-in-laws that are officers with more than 50 years experience between them. What's you experience in police work??
