Could you provide a link that establishes your proof that 99.99 percent of criminals do not purposely want to go into houses with residents present please? I mean if you are speaking logically and want to break things down for folks. Oh and could you provide the percentage of criminals that kill the homeowners to prevent a call to 911 as well. Thanks

Could you provide stats for this as well?

So the camera will catch a masked gunman knocking on your door and the police may have a chance to solve you and your families murder by reviewing the recorded video...if they can get past the mask. Interesting eh? So the camera in your driveway will catch a masked gunman walking on your property and the police may have a chance to solve you and your families murder by reviewing the recorded video...if they can get past the mask. You monitor your cameras at all times when you are home? Interesting. Ahhh well consider yourself refuted...eh

Of course break ins are typically committed from the backyard, but any two-bit criminal would check to see if anyone was home before they broke in. That is done by knocking on the front door and my cameras would film them doing so. As I said once before "Criminals do not purposely want to go into houses with residents present, their main objective is getting money/valuables not a call to 911."

Of course you can provide statistics that show break-ins are committed from the backyard eh? A two bit criminal knocks on a door to see if people are home as opposed to looking in windows so as not to have to confront a homeowner who was actually home...you have interesting thought processes with no actual proof eh? You are right...your cameras would record them as they shot you when you answered the door because they knock first  Finally have you come up with any statistics that show that criminals do not purposely want to go into an occupied house. I'm pretty sure lots of people have died by being home and defenseless when a criminal broke into their home.
Lastly, I'm pretty sure rapists don't break-in to vacant homes to get money/valuables but nice try.

According to crime statistics reported by the FBI, over 60% of all residential burglaries occur between the hours of 9AM and 3PM. That is when people are usually at work. As for that other 39.9 percent I claimed, its up to you to believe it or not. Man I bet you have a tough time believing that gravity exists!

WOW 60 percent....you quoted a number much higher like it was fact...So let's break this down so as to better understand your grasp of factual evidence. First please provide a link to the FBI 60 percent stats, just so I can understand your numbers. Second I can understand gravity fine, I never made any claims...you did. It's up to you to prove your statements not me. If it works the way you say let me try one on you and you try to prove me wrong. 100 percent of those who rely strictly on CCTV or any form of cameras to protect their lives die at the hands of criminals...believe it or not

Now you might want to look into the Home Invasion Statistics. This is what I'm am trying to point out to you. A Cc Camera doesn't do you or your family any good at all.

I am not saying that you should only rely on Ip cameras connected to a cloud storage server. I am saying that the chance that someone is breaking into your house for monetary reasons is 100s of times more likely than a person breaking into your house with the intent to rape/kill you. I think that you should have a gun for home defense, but having Ip cameras and signs in your backyard warning about cameras will prevent most break-ins, even more so than adt. I'm just trying to help out by giving my 2 cents, don't want to discuss this anymore.
