I guess this means you think that death by cop is similar? When you cite the killing of young blacks by other young blacks as some justification, you imply cops are simply other crooks killing people. Most police officers are able to arrest people everyday (even some who try to escape or resist arrest) without killing them. Don't you think it would be sensible to find out why some of them use lethal force as a first solution? Currently, they only need to say they are afraid...they could shoot because they fear the spider on the victims shirt. The victim might throw the spider on them and the spider might be a black widow. Is it unreasonable to require their fear be a reasonable fear? Not just being afraid because their victim is black?

But the most dangerous 'job' is being a citizen (and police officer) and being the victim of tyranny, and part of hierarchy.
Citizens are becoming slaves because they fear tyranny, or they are more and more influenced by it, the police too (their behaviour shows)
When tyranny fears the people the police starts to become more civilized, because the change in emotion in the police officers has to do with power, with tyranny.
To get more control over the citizenry is done by putting more emotion in the police force.
The police needs knowledge, that they shouldn't stay part of tyranny, but start moving in the oppoisite direction. Independent from the powers that be.
Breaking away from an hierarchy is very difficult, until enough police officers start to do it, when they start to see what has happened to their emotional state (part of hierarchy or tyranny ('darkness') and your emotional state changes unnoticed, it's human psychology so it's hard to feel)

I have been a farmer most of my life. A statistical study of deaths per 100,000 shows farming to be more dangerous than police work. The top most dangerous job is logger.
