    OK I did find the Bloomberg article, but I'm not sure what the alarm is. Housing prices are stable, they're not falling, and most of the property mentioned were rental and vacation homes. All in all it sounds like a better market for new family formation than the current rising home price situation in the US.

    If the U.S. goes bust, the rest of the world will go with it so it will pretty much suck everywhere. I would stay pat - surrounded by family (very successful family) and acres of farmland away from the madding crowds. Dust off my guns, build a chicken coop, huge garden, build a wood burning fireplace, and become a hunter gatherer. It would really suck and I would die.
